SEXIH25 = Self Edge x Iron Heart 19oz Denim Jeans

These were my first 633, and my first (and only so far) IH denim, but I'd been eyeing them off for a while. I was hoping for a slightly slimmer silhouette to be honest, and probably a slightly lower rise. Basically, what the original 633 is described as. I'm still putting these through their paces though. Some days I love the cut, some days I feel like it's just not right for me. It's got me wondering what I should go to next, 888, 633 or maybe 555? I don't have a local retailer to try the various cuts out, and when they drop they don't last long - always feels like a roll of the dice.
I agree the fabric is great, still developing it's evolution, and I'll continue with them as my primary jeans for a few months yet.

I have the 633 OD version and love it. My only comparison is the 555 but I appreciate the higher rise and wider leg. It's more of a medium rise and the waist is tighter but I like it better than my 555.

@ManiacLachy hey you are in Oz right? I know the feeling! Bit of gamble when ordering stuff like this and with the aussie dollar being weaker. Did you end up getting much stretch in the waist?

@cyclops yeah, I'm in Brisbane, online ordering is always a bit of a gamble, you definitely need to have faith and trust in the merchant's measurements and advice. IH do this really well and set a very high bar for anyone else. Melbourne and Sydney have a few retailers who I've bought from in person before and I really appreciate trying an item on when I can.
I'm pretty sure there's some stretch, they've loosened and I like to tell myself I've dropped a little weight. I'll give them a measure tomorrow and see where they're at now.

@ManiacLachy thanks heaps man! I just ordered the 301 in OD last night so hopefully it turns out ok. Fingers crossed! Yeah i think this last year i have been sending stuff back around the world making Aust Post wealthy in the process. Its a bit sad this addiction ha ha.

@cyclops sorry for delay in getting the measurements. Some of them gave me pause and I wanted to recheck, but the numbers are accurate.
I've worn these 5-6 days a week since late August, 2 washes. I always wear them with a belt, so the waist doesn't get much tension, only a half inch there. I think if they were under more tension the waist would stretch further pretty easily. I have an office job, sitting on my arse a lot - maybe that explains the rear-rise stretch, about an inch. I honestly haven't heard about thighs stretching so much and that surprised me.

Been wearing these for the Indigo Invitational, a first for me. I don’t have any other IH jeans to compare to, but these jeans are something else. Been putting them through the paces at work for the past 5 months and loving the evolution. 3 washes, 1 cold soak, and 166 wears

@Blanco thanks! OD takes a bit more time to fade, but they do eventually fade. Stick with it! You won’t be disappointed.

I noticed that on Friday! I may pull the trigger. Does this denim stretch ~1” like the others? If they offered a 35 it’d be perfect.
