STF-CH201BL-IND - STF Japanese Bleached Sashiko Chore Jacket - Indigo
Handmade in London, STF’s interpretation of the traditional chore jacket offers a more refined silhouette and tailored fit while preserving the classic workwear charm. Cut with restraint, it features a corozo button placket, a single chest pocket, and two larger waist pockets — all buttonless to maintain clean lines — along with a discreet internal pouch. All-felled seams and polycotton constructional stitching ensure lasting durability.
This version is cut from a lightly bleached 13.75oz indigo sashiko cloth. Woven in Japan, this style of fabric is known as sashi-ori — often used in kendo and judo uniforms for its tough yet breathable characteristics. The cloth’s heavy texture is created using a dobby loom to replicate the classic Japanese sashiko stitching technique, reinforcing both the fabric’s strength and aesthetic allure.
S-XXL

For crying out loud you guys are killing financially responsible George! (Costanza voice)

@Steve is there any artwork on these anywhere? I didn't see any, but the information is stating there is. Just a cool part of STF not a deal breaker if not
-
hey @CosmoSix5 unfortunately there is no art inside these. As the brand had grown and more products have been added to the line, the original artwork plan didnt always work with each new addition, its taken me a good few months to try to work out a way of incorporating art into the pieces - making the art relevant/visible/not too visible is a lot different on a pair of short to a shirt - but last month I think I cracked it, unfortunately these jackets were in production at the time, so have missed out.
But the plan is for new products arriving later this year (lounge trousers) and next year (new jackets, polo shirts, shirts, shorts) will have the new art inside.

Hey guys, will measurements be up for these today? The suspense!
@ShopatIronHeart @Steve -

The only STF item I have is the Sashiko blazer in an Xl. I have compare the two in sizing but still confused as they are different fits in shoulders versus arm length etc.. Does anyone know if you are an xl in the blazer would you be an xl in this jacket, or would I size up.
-
I have the large Sashiko blazer and went large in this chore jacket. The blazer fits well IMO ... for a blazer that isn't tailored? I'm really not a blazer guy, so the range of motion, w/ the blazer buttoned, is limiting. I could hug someone easily (though not much of a hugging guy lol), but raising my arms above my head would be a challenge (esp. when buttoned). I think the shoulder, chest and sleeve length are good though. The armpit seams might be a little too low (again, not a blazer person)? So I hear your concerns as far as sleeve length comparisons ... but I'm looking at Rudi and Sam (?) also wearing the large blazer and chore jacket and my dimensions are similar. Fingers crossed as I won't know for a bit (stacked the order).

@rudy Although the fits between the blazer (unstructured but still with a slight fit to it) and Chore (less fitted) are different, I am finding that the sizing are comparable between products. I am a L in the blazer, and a L in the Chore, and a L in the shirts. Hope this helps

@Steve It does thank you. I think I am out of luck on this one unfortunately though as I would be an Xl! Maybe next run. Thanks for confirming

Well thank you to the one who returned the Xl as woke up this morning to one XL so took the shot.
