Hey y'all, just trying to clear out some items that I never wear or that does not fit me properly so I can make room for some new pieces. Debating the strap extension, thanks for link to thread!

I am in the market for a pair of these and I was told by a friend that they may fit funny considering my height. I am 6'1, 170 lbs anywhere from a 32-34 in IH and a solid 32 almost everywhere else. Any people around same height/stature? I was told the straps aren't long enough and it causes the crotch to ride high. Is this the case? Does he just have an older pair maybe? I measured out 37 inches across waist, should I go for the 32? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
