RE: The Evolution of Iron Heartposted in General Info About Iron Heart Products
@don_pipone I remember back before i knew what rope-dyeing was, or even what the concept of selvedge/raw/heavyweight denim was, I'd see the rare random dude in the mall with a heavily faded pair of jeans with combs like this and was bewildered by them. I had only known that if jeans were faded, it's because they were designed that way, it was a 'wash' or a 'distressed' pair. I didn't understand the process or how they could be so '3D'. I definitely didn't realize at that time that they were made with time and wear, and that you couldn't just go buy them like so. It took years to find out. Now... I sometimes (rarely) get complimented on my "acid wash" jeans. LOL. If people ask where I got them or how much the cost, I usually tell them "Just google raw denim".
Sik fadez bruh! -

I have no problem waiting for something worth waiting for. If everything i wanted were available immediately, i'd not be able to afford it all, nor would i have anything to look forward to. I see it as an opportunity to practice my patience and enjoy anticipation, rather than spoil myself with indulgence.

That was a pretty exciting race! It seems like they fixed a lot of what was wrong with the regs. Good action. Much less like Mario kart

@RobbieZev you could give them some time to fully break in and conform to your body and the range of motion should improve. However, I’ve had a pair or two that were just too small still and I had to size up. One size doesn’t really look looser though once they’re broken in, and comfort is worth it.

@RobbieZev all my 14oz pairs have stretched over an inch in the waist, especially if they're sized down. If you're putting pressure on them, they'll stretch. More so if you wear them damp. I posted a thing i do if they're too tight in the waist in a sizing thread or something, but idk where it is. Dip the waistband in water then wear a while. or just keep wearing them dry. if they're still cutting into your hips after a couple weeks it may be time to size up.

@GoodtimeJohnny thats tough, brother. Makes for a heavy heart. When our ladydog of 14 years left us, the perspective that helped me was: "Don't be sad she's gone, be glad she was here." Take care bud!

Do we think this will be enough? I'm hopeful, but skeptical...
It's just hard to enjoy the 'racing' when the PU's battery is running the show.

@goosehd I usually assume I am invisible on the road, yet I try to be predictable and communicate intent with plenty of lead time. Always maintain a plan of evasion though.

@northsouthdenimguy i get you on this one.
moral of the story: when you have the right of way - TAKE IT. they exist for a reason, and its usually so that everyone is operating on the same assumptions on who to prioritize. When you give it up, you risk generating an crash by disrupting the flow.
