One of my favorites as well. Probably my most worn IH item ever, actually. Winter uniform is this over UHF.

Duxedo the second. It wasn't intended, those were just the pants I was wearing today (mtn khakis).

First is xl, second is xxl. Both over UHF, which is how I plan to wear it. I'm xl in most shirts, but the chest is always the limiting factor. I'm going with the xxl, even though it's a tad long in the arms. My mobility is better and I can keep the second (scratch that: third) snap together comfortably when moving around. Plus, it might shrink up a tad and the xl would get uncomfortable any smaller. If I was going for more of a shirt fit, I'd probably go xl. Posting here to help others decide.

New Spyderco Caribbean sheepsfoot in LC200N rustproof steel. Handle is layered G10 that has ridges machined in to reveal the yellow beneath the black. Fit and finish is perfect, really just impressive feeling overall. I know most people won’t dig the looks but this should be a phenomenal user.

RE vs 21 photo study.

2 years cold weather wear on 21oz. Probably 4 washes? I do nothing special to preserve or facilitate fades.
3 months wear on the RE. 2 washes.

In all cases RE is on top of 21oz.

Cross posted from WAYWT.  Just hunted down a 1908 Miners Vest in hemp denim.  Loved the look of it, and the denim is beyond interesting.  I'll have to take a few more pics.  Got it in XL and hot soaked it to get out all the shrink.  Turned stiff as a board and lost about 1 inch in most measurements.  Definitely a vest people notice without being over the top, and construction is very thoughtful (whole arm seam is selvedge).
