    • RE: IH-1955S - 21oz Selvedge Denim "1955" Vintage Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo

Okay, I keep meaning to come on here and say something about these jeans. I have been wearing Iron Heart for a while now. The 634S being my go-to. As much as I love those jeans (especially the pair I have worn for a good 4 years or more) they've always felt a bit too tight in the thigh and loose in the waist and seat. A short while ago I figured I'd give the 1955 a go.

Wow. I went an inch smaller in the waist, which gave me a much better fit there and the seat but with plenty of room in the thigh. The length is perfect and the taper actually sits a bit nicer on my trainers. My new favourite jean I reckon. Going to live with them for another month or so and then a second pair will most certainly need to be purchased.

Please can we get these in brown, or overdyed, or grey, or…or...or...I don't know...something else. I want excuses to buy more!

    • RE: Watches - another OCD problem

For anyone interested it would appear the size of the discount in India was overstated to me. I went to an authorised dealer (for a variety of brands). They didn't have Grey Side of the Moon but did try to sell me a Panerai Luminor Marina 44 automatic for £4000. Their list price was £4700. So from what I can see with a quick Google search the prices are no better than Heathrow prices.

      @Winchy:

Always nice to see some updates/pics in this thread. Gutted that I missed out on these; they had arrived from Japan during my first week with IH and I wish i'd been more clued up and nabbed a pair.

@nietenhosen isn't helping much either. What a great looking pair of jeans!

What size are you Winchy? My first IH were the 666L in a 34. I wore them once or twice but they are just too damn tight for my thighs. Never sold them as I like them so much I keep thinking it might change. It won't though will it so might be time to sell.

Thanks. Not as big a fan of the dark side. Plus I gave a black Bell & Ross so fancy something different.

      Thanks again for your reply.

Hi, quick question for you experts out there.

Ever since someone posted a picture of the Omega Grey Side of the Moon in this thread I've wanted one. Even more so since I saw one 'in the flesh' on Monday.

I am India right now where apparently I can get legit watches for half the UK prices. Is there a catch? Is there any reason I shouldn't buy one during my trip? I'll be in Thailand next week - would I get an even better deal there?

    • RE: IH-712 - 9oz Organic Selvedge Cotton Herringbone Work Pants

Well I gave up after 10 minutes. The thighs just won't work for me. It's a real shame though as these are great. I strongly recommend anyone who is on the fence to take the plunge.

Lucky for me I have my new Loom Breakers to soften the blow.

Mine have arrived. As with all IH stuff, great fabric and great workmanship. My fears were not unfounded though. Do feel a bit snug in the thigh. Going to wear them around the house for the afternoon and hope they loosen a little bit. Was the right call to go no bigger on the waist.

Got some very poor pics. Keen to hear others thoughts re the thigh fit.

I can't resist. Just ordered a charcoal pair (I think the olive ones look awesome but I know I'm unlikely to wear that colour) and put a comment about thighs measurement.

      Thanks again for your help.

Thanks. I understand. I appreciate the help too.

Is there any variation in the thigh? In other words, is it possible you have a 33 waist with a slightly larger thigh than some of the others?

An inch in the thigh? Is that more or less than the 634S? Sorry to fire questions at you, G. Finger hovering over the purchase option.

    • RE: IH-712 - 9oz Organic Selvedge Cotton Herringbone Work Pants

Any idea what the stretch will be like on these? I want to buy a pair but they have the usual 'problem' of too big a waist for the right size thigh. I stuck to a 34 waist with my 634LB and it may have been a mistake, so would have to size down for these but then that makes the thigh tighter than my (already snug) 634S.

First world problems, eh… Anyway, if anyone can answer then thanks a bunch.

    • RE: IH-634-LB - Straight Cut Loom Breakers….

Mine should arrive tomorrow. Had to compromise - 33 tag had the perfect waist but 34 tag had the space I need in the thigh. Decided on 34 and a belt. Looking forward to bruising my fingers trying to button up.

I don't want an Apple watch but I like the look of this…

No Apple Watch for me. If they did a band with sensors (so basically a much better version of a jawbone) then I'd snap it up.

I don't want to replace my BR03 with that though.

634s got soaked by another man's sweat. Unexpected. Have to wash them. Can't wear them tomorrow now.

Sell a child to fund it if you have to. They are that good. I do miss my son a little bit though…

Sounds like my average day off. I swear I'm 33 though…

Haha I'm 37 and the only way mine is different is pizza and Xbox.
