Another reminder that Sprinter weather hasn't quite let go of central Oregon. We made it to 55° today so spent the day in the garage doing bike maintenance. A bit of rain came and I swear there were a few snow flakes in the mix. Supposed to be 90°F next weekend. C'est la vie....
Still jacket weather here and a chance to break in the Aero. Some IH along for the trip.

Giving my Nicks Boots Urban Loggers some love.

Decided to give the DD a go.
Thanks to @cherniy for moving these 634's on to me. And, to @Graham and the rest of the IH cognoscenti for advice on the 526J. Finally @bob_z for the Boss Boots.

Gotta break them in.

Traveling. Definitely requires patience, a good book and lots of water. I'm not a fan of the "Shoppers of Walmart" pajama look.

The SAX out for pub night

@alexxedge Good on you Brother. The 634 is a comfortable fit for me. Gives me room in the top block without feeling baggy. When you are an old effer like me, some of the cuts just don't look quite right. From knee to hem, these work well with engineer boots. Glad that you get to try them on for fit. I have found that I take one size larger in the 634 than in the 666. These are the 21oz. Rock on!!

@twin Good eye, Brother. Buco J21. Maybe a higher rise would work better, but like the 634 for the room in the top block and the hem opening.

Temps are dropping in Bend and pulled out the serious stuff this morning. 21°F (-6°C for the rest of the world), and a clear sky full of stars when I awoke. My pup begging me for a walk and I noticed my weather station said no snow. Admittedly, I have rarely been too hot in my entire life. There was that day in July 1986 in Bisbee that comes to mind. I digress. This morning, I pulled out the N1, wool hat and winter gloves, over IH 666 21oz, wool socks and Grant Stone Field boots. Wearing a cotton t-shirt and Patagonia sweater. First time that the N1 has been out this year. Just love this jacket/coat.

Aero Hooch Hauler and IH 634S in 21 oz. Love this combo.
!
I so dig this flannel. 276 (I think)

Admittedly, I've not had great experience with engineer boots. I decided to give these a go and thrilled with them. It really is all about the fit. John Lofgren in Shinki. The sizing advice of 1/2 down from Brannock worked for me.

I have often wondered if I could pull off the cross zip look. It seems that I've gotten older, I'm more likely to try a different look. Lots of great inspiration in the denim community. Jeans, a t-shirt, great boots and a leather jacket are just perfect together.
I scored this Vanson C2 on the bay and just really impressed with how this heavy duty jacket is very comfortable. This baby is going to get some use.

A tease of spring in the PNW this weekend. Just gorgeous. Got the Tundra out in the driveway and must have removed 10 lbs of winter grit and crud from underneath.
Love this truck and those IH 666's! One of the last of the V8's, Baby!
