We have just had some of these delivered from Japan today. I have checked the measurements and they all measure as per, or within our tolerance of the size chart.

What I have noticed though is that these measure 1.5" - 2" smaller if measured flat on their back pockets which is not an accurate way of measuring. Our sizing guides show to align the waistband as this will give an accurate circumference as if measured on their back pockets the front and rear rises will skew that measurement. So perhaps this is where we are getting different measurements?

For example:

Tag 30:
IH method: 32.0"
Flat: 29.9"

Tag 32:
IH method: 33.6"
Flat: 31.6"

Tag 34:
IH method: 35.7"
Flat: 34.0"

Tag 36:
IH method: 37.6"
Flat: 36.0"

Interesting. I don't have the 32s anymore to check but that's good to know for next time. Anyway I see they are restocked which is great news. I finally have it sorted and they are amazing. Happy for anyone who nabs a pair.

I can back that up Giles. Mine were an inch and a half off. I have pics if you need them. Im going to nab these from Mike but something happened in the sizing here.

I always trust the IH size charts, but this time I should have listened to the forum.

I ordered through Silver Deer in Mexico (they had the only pair of 34s I could find), so if spork doesn't want them I'll be listing these for sale rather than paying the International return shipping.

IH Team, please update the size chart on these to save any other customers the hassle…

Mine didn't fit me at all. I measured the 32 waist as 32.5 instead of the listed 33.8. I need to return them but olive is sold out in 34. Are these going to be supplied to retailers also or was this only for IH direct?

I find the IHM-09 to be the warmest jacket i have every owned, but it is not a direct replacement for a canada goose style jacket. If you want to be warm and look good, then the IHM-09 is the way to go. If you are in a super cold climate and just need to be warm, then it wont accomplish that as it isn't cut long or have a hood. THey both have their purpose, but IHM leans toward style and the CG leans toward warmth.

I live in NYC, where it could get pretty cold.

The olive is so perfect between tan and green that it works for both colors. At first I was let down that it wasn't tan, but after getting it, I'm glad it's this color.

Wondering about the sleeve length. I have a Mister Freedom n1 and Mullholand Master and the Sleeves run 23/24 inches. THis jackets dimensions all line up to those jackets but the sleeves are 3 inches longer. Is that because the interior sleeve is shorter? Will these sleeves bunch up or run way too long? any help is appreciated

those stock levels correct? seems like a handful only

^ thanks so much for doing this for me!  Thats really cool of you. I'll call the guys at the store to make sure for myself.. Im short but wide. I dont mind going for a large (which equals my chest size exactly) but I don't want the sleeves to be too long or the waist to be too loose. Thanks for the pics. Ill be trying to snag one this week!  Ill post some fits when i got it!

Yes, sorry spork, I only half listened.  We can only do white this time, and as sean says, the white has cotton stitching (unlike the grey which has polycotton stitching) so takes up the dye…..Unless of course, this batch of whites used polycotton - time will tell...

Well either way im in!….fingers crossed on that stitching!

Did you say the henleys will be dipped in indigo ? Or we still talking black/grey/white?
