    A few weeks ago now, but completed the Tahoo 200. Had been on my bucket list for years. An unbelievable experience in an amazing place! Have been enjoying the recovery ever since.

    I said never again all the way around, but that lasted a couple of days. Now looking at Cocodona and Moab races!

    @Nkwkfld:

    Trying to decide on a good plan for this 100k in July http://www.serpenttrailrace.com/100k
    But also am doing a 70.3 Ironman in September so want to keep swimming and biking.
    This plan looks nice, but thinking of keeping the weekend long runs and subbing a couple midweek runs for bike and adding in a swim or two on rest days. Then after the 100k adjusting the plan to a tri focus.

    That looks a good plan!

    I’ve run a bunch of ultramarathons (30+ I think, including 5x100 milers) and my training is always along these lines

    Tip - slower is always better in training, takes some practice 🙂

    Good luck!

    I did Ironman UK a few years ago - came at it as a complete novice in all 3 events, but loved the process of focusing on something for the best part of 9 months. It wasn't pretty but I got round OK.

    I'd like to have another go at some point and fix all the rookie mistakes I made. Main one would be spending more time on the bike. Makes sense when you think about it as this is there you'll spend the majority of your time on the day

    The only thing you can't really prepare for is the mass swim start. Being kicked in the head from every direction is, umm, interesting :p

    Mine arrived today and it’s a beautiful jacket! Sized up to an XL (normally a L in shirts) but worried it may be a touch large.

    Has anyone managed to get any shrinkage out of this?

  • RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

    I really like the pattern on the reverse of the hickory stripe work shirts. I’d totally buy a work shirt made of this!

    Spotted a glitch in the matrix on mine earlier. Not sure where the brown thread came from! [emoji3]
