Your graphics card is significantly slower than the minimum requirement. It will probably start, but don't expect a satisfactory performance.

You CPU will be fine, your graphics card will want to throw up like a teenager after 15 jägerbombs.

I have me some fat calves (18" in diameter) and wondering if the socks would be uncomfortable due to this?

I have 14.5" calves and the socks are already pretty tight. (I bought 4 pairs in Japan)
