Hi, was this also with the spin cycle on? I washed my watermelon without a spin cycle, but doing that every time seems really a lot of hassle. At 20 degrees without a spin cycle, I didn’t have any noticeable shrinkage

I sized up to a XL (I have the Watermelon in L).
I tried the L in brown, but it was way too tight around the chest and too short.
The XL feels a little roomy , but it should fit better once it’s been washed right
Appreciate the gift!

@PritchyRich562 My first UHF. Next time I’ll size up to avoid shrink worries.

I find it difficult to buy a larger size and just hope it will fit better after washing. I took a chance with a size L, mainly worried about the chest (108cm), but it actually fits perfectly. Such a nice shirt!
Any shrinkage in the chest area would probably be a problem, though. Is washing at 30°C with a 400 spin safe enough, or should I play it more safe?

Yesterday I got an mail to confirm the size, today it’s already here. Fantastic! Great shirt. Size XL, chest 108 cm.

Looks like I snagged the last German 40 a day before you

Slightly tight in the chest (108 cm) with a sweater, but a good fit I think. The XL would likely be too loose in the shoulders.

I'm torn between XL and XXL. Last year I tried the IHJ-139-IND in L, which was just a little too thight (108 cm chest) under the armpits. I'm wondering if that extra centimeter in XL is enough. XXL seems like a slightly safer choice?

It is normal that the zipper is difficult to close from the bottom. I have to try a couple of times to close the zipper.

@Brandrea Thanks. It feels good zipped up with a t-shirt and shirt underneath, which is what I normally wear, no restrictions in the armpits.

Got it today. Size L, I have enough space on the chest (108cm).
Great jacket! Does it look a bit too small on me with the lenght? What do you think of the fit overall.

I am glad I tried the Western. This fits much better than the workshirt. Room to move on the chest where I did not have that in the workshirt in size L

Hi,
According to the sizing, the Khaki XL Western should be a bit tighter on the chest and shoulders than the Work Shirt XL. So that should fit better. But the sleeve length is even longer on the Western. Does it make sense to try the western in this colour with such long sleeves?
With the Western in blue, the L should have a bit more space than the Work shirt L, the difference seems minimal, 0.2 cm on the chest and 0.5 on the shoulders more space. But the sleeves should fit better.
Too bad the Khaki Western in L is 3 cm narrower in the chest than the blue one.

Thanks for the feedback. I now also see that the XL is just a bit too baggy. The L doesn't fit on the chest, no room to move.
IHSH-395-KHA 7oz Fatigue Cloth Work Shirt - Khaki seems like an interesting option. According to the size guide the L fits between XL and L of the IHSH-344-KHA. The fabric also looks a bit more sturdy/boxy

How long does it take for the part below the knee to conform more to the leg. This is the part that has the least tension. Does this only become softer after washing?
