@Workwear said in IH-830-IND - 10.5oz Herringbone Painter’s Pants - Indigo:
I hung dry it and seemed fine afterwards. Not sure why you'd tumble dry with heat if you don't want shrinkage.
I don't want to hem them and have the inseam come up over time. Plus I'm curious why there is conflicting care info.

RE: IH-830-IND - 10.5oz Herringbone Painter’s Pants - Indigoposted in Bottoms
The care info on the Iron Heart website says "We recommend washing this garment at 30°C with a low (or no) spin cycle. Hang dry, do not tumble dry", however the care instructions on the pocket and tag say "tumble dry low". The same is true of the wabash pants and probably others. So which one should we follow and If we tumble dry, how much shrinkage can we expect? @ShopatIronHeart

I just received mine. Medium was the right call for me. Question to @Tobi or anyone else that has has worn this shirt - did the sleeve openings stick straight out when you first wore the shirt? Can I expect them to hang more naturally after some wear?

@tody I’m a large in UHFs and a large or medium in work shirts and CPOs depending on the shirt. I went smaller with the medium based on measurements. I’ll let you know if I made the right decisions when it arrives.

@NickD I’m trying to figure out sizing on these SJ42CP. The sizing charts are all over the place. Do you happen to have the baker pants from samurai? I’m wondering if you went with the same size? Any advice would be appreciated!

RE: SEXIH25-CPO - Self Edge x Iron Heart 19oz Denim CPO Shirtposted in Shirting
@jmp777 I’m not sure how consistent the sizing is on these, but if the XL you get is similar to the one I had, that’s probably the call. You’re taller and bigger chest measurement, so it might be perfect.

@jmp777 5’8, 160. I have an athletic type build w/40” chest.

RE: SEXIH25-CPO - Self Edge x Iron Heart 19oz Denim CPO Shirtposted in Shirting
@jmp777 I actually ordered both. I kept the large. The XL was too big for what I wanted, although it still fit. It was too wide in the body and sleeves were a bit long. I can still fit a hoodie under the L.

@jmp777 I have the 293 and the newest version of the IH x SE in OD, both size large. The SE version is definitely smaller than the 293. The chest on my 293 measures 22.7 and my SE measures 21.75. Hope that helps.
