@tvaillant75 If you’re looking for fade potential, the 19oz is probably the way to go. As @Daniel-San mentioned, it’s not as stiff as the 19oz lefty denim, so it’s easier to break in – comparable to 21oz imo.

The cotton/linen, on the other hand, is a far less structured denim. Definitely looser, slouchier and more breathable, but I wouldn’t expect it to fade with as much contrast as the 19oz. Hope that helps.

@ChrisC Cheers mate - yeah, I made a few custom mods inspired by Jerry Garcia's "Alligator" Strat, which I always thought looked cool. Just need to add some IH stickers now

@WhiskeySandwich It's a very thin satin finish over an ash body, so you can feel the texture of the grain. It was part of a limited edition American Performer "Raw" series from a few years back, but I actually bought this one from @AdamJ . It's really resonant without the heavy poly coating, and much lighter than the tele — which my old back doesn't complain about at all!

@Northman @cyclops The pair I'm wearing above is a tag 33. I previously compared them with the same tag size in 634 21oz. Even though there's not a lot in it on the charts, the rise definitely feels a little higher (in a good way) on these

New jeans day When I joined IHUK, 18oz was the first denim I tried — always loved the fabric, but didn't get on with the 555 cut I initially went with. I missed out the last time it restocked, so wasn't going to let it pass me by again!

@will6er Yep, it’s the FW26 IHSH-449-GRN. Great cut in a really nice 8oz Oxford cloth fabric, coming soon

@FelixK It’s the infamous 526J-DD that lives in our Hall of Fades – 16.5oz double indigo duck.

Edit: @Giles has pointed out that this jacket has had a small repair to the rear yoke using regular denim. This is why it appears to display a white weft on the interior instead of the indigo/indigo weave of the original double duck fabric – just in case anyone was confused!

@Daniel-San Not a huge amount of change tbh, as it hasn't really been seeing much action where it's been so warm. It had another wash before I put it away for the summer — looking forward to wearing it more regularly again come autumn.
