I went to SELA on the day of the event to pick up a pair of the OD301. I made a comment to the staff about how the CPOs sold out in minutes online and I was bummed they didn't seem to have any left on the table (it was maybe around 1pm). The staff pointed me to the very last OD CPO, which happened to be a large. The denim was so substantial, I walked right past it thinking it was the type3.

I just picked up my first CPO just 2 weeks prior (422 Duck), so I wasn't exactly in need of another. I'm also not one to wear denim on denim, whereas I like the contrast of the brown Duck. But man, once I had that thing in hand, you just can't pass it up. It is hefty. The OD shade is inky; it really reminds me of a deeply saturated drawing with a Bic pen (odd reference, I know). Then when you factor in the slub, it really made the 555-21 I was wearing feel a bit boring by comparison.

I normally wear a medium, and won't really be layering much here in SoCal. Although this was a large (and the very last one), the fit is great, so I can agree with those saying they sized up on this one. I won't be wearing them together, but I guess I am now the proud owner of my first Canadian Tuxedo!

I came up from SD, but couldn't stay long enough to make the party. Sounds like everyone had a great time. Wanted to give a shoutout to the staff for pointing me toward the last OD CPO that I completely walked past and didn't notice.

Also, I brought my homie that typically wears more designer type stuff. I'm not saying he's now a convert, but he bought his first 2 items from Self Edge and is currently breaking in his first pair of raw denim.

@kiya I plan on coming up tomorrow for the event, but since online sales begin at 9am, I'm concerned certain item/size combinations might sell out by the time the event starts at 6pm. Do you recommend purchasing the item online in the morning, and then picking it up in person later that night? Or will there be enough stock reserved for the event? Just want to make sure not to miss out.

Damn, I wish these were fully murdered out. I know I'm in the minority, but I don't like the red Works 'W' on the back.

I can't recall, which model is all tonally black? Was it the old 25oz BB?

Decided to pick one of these up for the Christmas-vibes, and man, this design is so nice in person. Really stoked!

@emilink I got a medium and the fit is spot on. What are your measurements?

Setting aside init's situation, is the consensus this one generally marbles more than the other varieties? I want to try a CPO, and I've been leaning towards the Superblack, as black is more versatile since I'm not the type to wear indigo on indigo, but I'd prefer the crisper wear patterns rather than the vintage/marbling look.

Has there been any discussion of doing the IB in a CPO anytime in the future?

Turning the cuff over once is perfect length-wise, but then I get that flying nun hat look where the sleeve opening flares out. Perhaps I could wear it like that around the house just to help get some creases to form, as that should shorten the sleeves slightly, but I doubt I'll get much by working at my desk.

Amazing fabric. Is this overdyed slub used on any other items?

I've lusted after the IHSH-277, but never got one. So when this shirt came out of nowhere, as a purple fan, I had to have it!

I don't know if Withered Fig had more of a say on the sizing, but the medium fits me like a bespoke custom suit. The measurements are just spot on. I couldn't be happier.

I still love this shirt, but my sleeves are way too long; the chest and shoulders fit perfectly.
Is it a feasible solution to soak the sleeves only in hot water in an attempt to shrink them?

Mine arrived the other day. The color has a lot of vibrance to it, captured perfectly by @SaddleSC in the 2nd photo above.

My sleeves are a bit too long and I think I should get them shortened. I'm hesitant to do so due to the fabric and tonal stitching. Has anyone had luck there?

I was in between sizes (S and M), but the smalls are already gone, so I ordered a Medium. Hoping its a good match!

I know this red overdye is new, but does anyone have any examples of how something like this will wear in over time?

First post: count me in as another forum lurker that came across this thread thanks to the Facebook group.  I was bummed to see the marketplace 'disappear', but totally understand the reasoning (I write while wearing a flannel purchased from the marketplace).

I'm new to Iron Heart, but changed that in a big way this year by first picking up IH-555S-21, then the anniversary IHSH-332-SAX, and just recently the beautiful IHM-37-ODG!  I guess I found a silver lining from having to retire my PBJs.
