About 5 full days of wear on this beauty. It’s a shame IH and other brands don’t use broken twill more often. Also, why is broken twill always right around 14 oz. Wrangler, IH, ShipJohn, always 14 or so ounces.

I wish this was the size chart of every IH shirt.
@jeffv0708 great to hear, wear it in good health!
First month was brutal, like sandpaper and the waist band would dig into my waist / hips very painfully. They gradually improved until about month 6 and then it was like they gave up the fight and became sweatpants.
@Sunnergren and @Jord Thanks! They have become my favorite pair of jeans are about 1000% more comfortable that they were at the start.
10 months in on this pair.

@moskiitto It's from my car, oddly enough. I drive a Bronco and we had a brutal winter in NY. Every time I would get out of the truck my left leg would scrape on the floor board on the way to the ground, which was covered with road salt. I think that's why the fade is greenish.
9 months of wear. Just recently started to rotate the 25oz IBs in

Wills Decade Jacket
IH x SE broken twill CPO
888 UHR

Couple months old now, no washes or soaks

I just received the SE broken twill CPO and have a few other IH shirts from SE over the years. I get my normal size and ask them to find the XL with the longest body and sleeves. The difference in measurements used to concern me but my theory is IH isn't making their shirts to a different sizing spec just for SE. An XL CPO is an XL CPO, regardless if it is a 292 that I buy from IH or the 19oz SE version. There will be the typical size variation, but unless the IH guys correct me, that's my assumption.
It’s an XL. Almost identical to my 292. About 23 in the chest, 37 in the sleeve (i always ask for the longest sleeves) and about 30.5 in length. Didn’t measure shoulders but feels just like my other XLs so probably around 19.
Picked this up yesterday at SE in NYC. Always loved broken twill denim.

Wore mine yesterday, unseasonably cold day in NY

Interesting how close the 33 and 34s are. My ideal waist is right at 34". Wonder if I should request a small 34 or a large 33.
@goosehd You said it much better than me but that is exactly what I aim for - a perfect fit prior to any soaking or washing, especially in the waist.
When I size IH jeans I focus on only 2 dimensions: waist and thigh. I might be in the minority, but I don't size up / differently for IH unsanforized / unwashed. In fact, my UHR are the only size 33 IH jeans I own. All of my others are 34s. The waist of my 888 UHR was 33.8 when new. Eight months (and 3 machine washes) later the waist is 34.2. Seems like most people size up in the UHR but for me, I have never had luck shrinking jeans permanently. They might be tighter for a bit but they always just stretch out again.
I took my normal IH size but asked the guys to find me an XL with a wider than listed chest measurement.
