I just got this hat and am thinking about trying to shrink it down a bit. Would you say the hat shrank in height? The crown is definitely higher than my other SJ hats.

Looks great to me. If it were me I would keep this size. I value comfort and a jacket I can button up though. Just depends on what you’re after.

The wait is more like 22 months, or at least it just was for me. I do like Wesco but I doubt I’ll order any more for a while until they can get their lead times under control. All my other pairs from them took 4-6 months but 2 years is just too long for me.

I’ll second @popvulture on the lot 64. It’s a great cut. Fits me like the 634 with a higher rise.

I also have the brown duck canvas ranch blouse and it whips ass.

This denim fades fast. I've been wearing these in rotation with a couple other pairs of jeans for a few months.

@LibagBall0105 it wouldn’t hurt but the 21oz denim is sanforized and one washed so you’d only get a minimal
amount of shrinkage. Maybe .25-.5 inch.

You’re probably safe just getting them hemmed to whatever length you prefer as is.

@LibagBall0105 the fit is good, if it were me I would do a hot soak with lots of agitation to take care of potential shrinkage and then get them hemmed for a single cuff or no cuff.

@goldstone0 XHS denim will quickly fray and tear along the cuff. If I were going to buy a new pair I would hem them one inch longer than my desired clean break inseam length so I could shrink them down and not worry about premature damage.

I’m thankful that this shirt runs so small so I’m not tempted by the 4XL.

They sold fast because higher rise straight leg jeans are the best! I held off on this run because 21oz is too hot for the desert but I would definitely be interested in a lighter fabric version. Too bad the vintage 16oz is no more because that fabric has that repro vibe that would pair well with this cut.

Please do another run!
