Hey guys. I’m considering getting a pair of these jeans. Just concerned about the sizing, I’m considering either a 34 or 36 as I’m smack in between two sizes- I know SE measures a bit differently than IH. And from what I’ve seen in this thread, a size 34 comes measured out closer to ~35 in the waist prior to shrinkage, which is what I want.

However is it possible to go with a size 36 to be on the safer end and then just really hit it hard with the hot wash to get them down to size 34 ish ballpark measurements? I’d then be worried about them stretching back out….

Any experience or advice would be very helpful

Just curious about how members with multiple pairs of jean rotate them in daily wear? Do you wear one pair for a few months at a time? A week? Rotate a pair every day?

I've got 3 pairs in my current rotation. Wearing 555-SBG's now. About to start wearing my XHS for the remainder of winter. I'm planning to go to my 555S-21od's once it starts to get a bit warmer out.

Not necessarily. It all depends on how much you want/need to layer the jacket, and how broad your shoulders are. Many people size down in an N1, but I have one that’s tts so I can put a uhf or hoody underneath without sacrificing range of motion.

I will most likely try and grab a Large in this release to account for layering. I just purchased the Nylon coaches jacket as well so these two jackets will have to take turns in the daily wardrobe.

The medium was a darn perfect fit for me! Love it!

I ended up picking one of these up in a medium. I’m typically a large. I’ll report back here on the fit when I get it on Monday. Pretty excited!

I was thinking that too. But compared to say an N-1 jacket; which has a pretty thick liner, the chest measurements for this jacket seem really big compared to their respective size.

I'm usually a large, or look for lined jackets around the 22.5 - 23 inch chest measurement range. Not sure how I would size this one. Help?

The chest measurement on these seems like its cut a bit larger compared to other jackets. Is this just the inherent style of the jacket or ??
