@Chad Great first purchase!  IMO the IHSH-99 is iconic Iron Heart, and the IHSH-178 seems to be a perfect continuation if not improvement on the design.

Awesome, I had completely forgotten about this until the email popped into my inbox.  Was bummed I had missed the IHSH-99, this looks like an amazing replacement.  Ordered.

Any news on the 18oz. Vintage denim run of this?

I hot soaked my DCTs for a couple hours and they shrunk about an inch.

So I'm guessing you mean "I will soak them again" but just in case I'm going to take you literally.  Don't soak just the hems, you need to soak the entire jean if you expect to get that shrinkage.  The entire jean needs to shrink in length.

I don't have much really on the surface of them, so don't feel the need for a machine level wash. I threw some soap in the soak to help break up anything else and freshen them some. I really just needed them to shrink back though

See I call that a hand wash, no soap=soak.

Alright I love my SIIs, but you clearly really love your SIIs  Nizzel.  Then again, I probably would too if mine looked like yours.

Hot soaking mine as we speak, fit was damn good presoak but I prefer to get all the shrink out before starting.  The arcs are even more beautiful in person, possibly my favorite arcs all time, and the patch is awesome.  They have the same almost black color as my SIIs did at the start, can't wait to see how the heavier denim and cone dyed weft impacts fades after a year.

Not my call….It's a Pronto cut.

Side note @Giles the DCT cut sure seems to be going faster than the DCS(666) cut…I would love to see more denim in this fit.  Some good room in the thighs and top block and pretty strong taper.  Also store/this thread say PIH5DCT, email that went out said PIH10DCT, which is official?  10 makes sense for 10th anniversary.

Planning on it!  I want to get them to 12 months wear and then I'll post some pics.  They're great, not nizzle great, but they're looking pretty solid.

Combs look great Brock, should have some killer fades.  Can't wait to see if the 18oz vintage denim rerun works out.  Grail item for sure.

So maybe too much to ask but I'm going to give it a go anyhow…any chance we could get a estimated drop time?  Or no earlier than?  American with a 6 hour time difference but willing to wake my ass up early if I need to.

Well that went way better than expected…count me in for sure on the IHSH-99.  Sounds like a great solution.  I suppose it's way too early to ask timeline?  I get your emails but only check the forums occasionally, this is definitely one I don't want to miss!

Since last I heard you are retiring the denim, you should do an update to the IHSH-99.  Heavy, black overdyed, CPO style with muted stitching.

Posted this is IHSH-137 thread but probably belongs here too. Picked these up just over a week ago, awesome denim and fit.
