      Hi guys,

      Just wanted to apologize to Giles. I didn't really think it through when I started posting. I won't be able to post any more promotional work type stuff on here. It makes complete sense. I think evolution pics should still be okay and if anyone wants to share their Tanner Goods feel free to do so. I won't be answering questions or PM's about TG anymore.

      once more, apologies to Giles and Ironheart Forum for stepping over my boundaries. I'll be more careful about what I post on here. I'll def need to post some pics of my IH Riders jacket as well.

      That's the main reason I came on here.

      best regards,

      LONG LIVE IH!

      -Mike

      Would anyone be interested in a Tanner Goods : Leather Care kit? Tanner Goods Conditioning Oil and a device for adding additional holes to your old belts + a small block of wax for edging?

      let me know what you think. We've been throwing around this idea for a bit.

      San Francisco is one of our favorite cities on the West coast. Each visit is always filled with eye-opening experiences, interesting, friendly people and copious portions of delicious food and drink which seem to emanate from every corner of the bountiful and diverse cityscape.  We'll have the pleasure of visiting this weekend to participate in the Meet Your Maker show, brought together by the fine fellas at The Durable Goods Concern. We'll be taking over the Ohio Showroom, located in heart of The Mission District, for 3 days starting Friday, June 11th for an open-market, retail event. Tanner Goods will release an extremely limited range of never before seen products at the show and it is high-likely we won't produce many of these products ever again. Be sure to come on down and check out what we have in store. If you are a fan of our products, these are going to blow you away. I promise.

      Meet Your Maker: Ohio Showroom 630 Treat Ave

      The Mission, San Francisco, California

      Friday June 11th 4-9p
      Saturday June 12th 11a-7p
      Sunday June 13th 11a-6p

      @Gilbert

      Yes the colors on our site are very accurate… except for the Golden 13oz... you just have to see and feel that one in person to understand how substantial it really is.

      "A few weeks back Mike and I made a trip down to San Francisco, and had a chance to visit one of our favorite TG retailers, Union Made.  Aside from stocking some stellar labels, the shop itself has a really inviting, friendly vibe thanks in part to the two gentleman running things - Todd and Aaron.  We wanted to leave something special behind for the guys, and thought our very first hand-tooled belt would be the perfect gift.

      Cut from our 10/11 oz. Natural, we went with a traditional floral pattern surrounding their UNION MADE namesake.  We rubbed in a Sheridan colored dye to give it a nice tint and really draw out the detail of the tooling.  Here's a few more pics of the finished product…"

      One of our newest Tanner Goods customers, Jordana sent me a very moving email a few days ago. She wanted to share the story behind her fathers belt buckle. While searching for a new belt she found that the Standard belt in Natural was the ideal vessel to continue his legacy in the physical world.

      "The buckle is brass, and my Dad had it custom made sometime in the mid-to late 70's in New York City, where we lived. The buckle has stamped in the back, "Hector Jorge Creations New York." My Dad had the buckle made to match a heavy silver ring he'd bought in Mexico in '74, and that he wore every day on the middle finger of his left hand as his rebel interpretation of a wedding ring. My father gave me this buckle some years ago when he finally stopped wearing jeans and cowboy boots and a chambray shirt any day he was not at work. I plan to wear this buckle with the Tanner belt and have it age in remembrance of my father's cowboy heart."

      A simple gesture which easily tugged at my heart-strings.

      To Jordana and her whole family, the very best wishes from the whole team here at Tanner Goods.

      @that_was_easy:

      Cheers Mike.

      Really looking forward to getting the 3Sixteen collab.  😉

      Also, IH collab… 😎

      IH collab would be awesome…

      as for the 3sixteen... if you guys haven't seen it yet.

      The guys from 3sixteen sent us two dozen salvaged belt buckles they acquired a few months back, and we jumped at the opportunity to produce a small run of belts for them.  We've been wanting to do a hand-stitched belt for a while, and thought our Golden 13oz. English Bridle leather would look exceptional with the antique buckles and white waxed thread.  Here's a few pics we took during production to show some of the process that went into producing these belts.

      These belts took nearly twice as long to produce as our typical Standard Belt - each keeper was skived down to a 5oz weight, hand edged, then stapled together.  The buckles and keeper are sewn in using a saddle stitch method Mark did by hand.  Cut 1 3/4" wide from 13oz Golden English Bridle leather, these are probably the most heavy-duty belts we've produced.  24 are currently available exclusively through 3sixteen's
