Coverchord has a collab with them coming out

The 440 V2 series is a great shoe. Love my Challenger collab. Starting to turn blue from the denim bleeding onto them haha!

Love the Challenger brand so it was only natural to buy the New Balance collab for a birthday present.

@Pinkpan what’s the height on your Boss boot? Why not have the knife sleeve installed when they made the boot at the beginning?
For those who have customs instead of stock boots, what’s your inspiration or story behind yours?
One boot I don’t see much of is the Warren, particularly in heights of 8-10 inch. Here’s a 10 inch example to rival Whites smokejumper:

This was a 8 inch vintage triple stitched black horween horsehide I had created by Wesco back in 2020 that I ended up selling on EBay later. I regret selling this boot!
I currently have a burgundy domain makeup that was a collab with Roller Magazine, . At the time, navy leather insoles were available.
I’ve noticed naturally when I have too much salt in my diet/summer, sometimes my feet would swell, making the Romeo’s feel tighter, no matter the socks I’m wearing. Same thing for any other shoe though.
Romeo do loosen over time; adding a toe cap makes the break in longer. It took me awhile for my break in but they’re comfy now (with toe cap). I wear mine working in a shop, errand, etc.
Update on these. I took them camping over the weekend in an effort to break them in quicker. I put them through the wringer, and can say they are worthy of the hype. Although I don't suggest taking them hiking, it was one way to speed up the process. I wasn't originally sold on the idea of a heavy "work" shoe, but damn these are solid.

The toe cap version adds to the break in period. I got the roller magazine collab with the toe cap and they took awhile to break in. Seems like The Shop got their inspiration for theirs from Roller.
@northsouthdenimguy You got me thinking about swapping my leather insoles for Rose Anvil thin foam insoles as I’m getting older and I wear my Wescos a lot.
One thing that isn’t mentioned is socks. These can make or break a great fit on any engineer boot.
@Bobcat-Sig yeah my black chromexcel doesn’t have any support also. I think the fashion leathers are done like this on purpose.
