Month 5 submission: I spend too much time on my knees
I fear I will have to repair the knees before end of the year.... The right knee already starts to feel fuzzy

Hi all,
thanks for creating the awesome place this forum is.
My name is Dominik, I'm 35 years old and live in Bavaria, Germany. I am into Denim and this kind of clothing since quite some time but discovered Iron Heart not too long ago.
Besides Denim I am also really into leather- and wood working.
I just submitted the January update:
So far I've worn them every day from getting up until going to bed and I'm really happy with them. They became very comfortable very quick. I really expected a longer break in period....
Here's my March submission pictures!
Being a Dad to two boys (2 + 4 years old) I already had to wash 3 times. Worn every day minus the 3 half days of drying after washing.
I love the XHS!
@drewfonse Looking good!! In my experience the shape only gets better with wear. They start to conform to your body and become very comfortable.
I really love the 888 cut with the higher rise in the back. They just stay where they should. While wearing them daily I don't notice it but when I have to change to another pair while the 888s are in the wash it really bothers me that i have to pull them up constantly. I never realised that before having my fist 888
Here's a picture of mine with about 3 months of continous wear:

First wear day after the initial wash yesterday.

Combs setting in nicely after the 4th full wear day.

Day one of break in after initial wash

I will join in y4 for the first time in these!
Not sure what to expect but I'll for sure enjoy the ride.
@olblue These look absolutely amazing!

@olblue Yeah, I love to see how the different "lifestyle" of people impacts the look of the jeans. Like you can clearly see if someone is riding a bike to work or spends a lot of time on the knees etc....
All of them will turn out magnificent though. I think it does not really matter what you do with them as long as you wear them constantly.
Thanks @WhiskeySandwich and @neph93!
I really enjoy this forum! It's just a friendly an so helpful place!
Maybe concerned was the wrong word. It just caught my eye that the cuff seam seems to be the first area to give up with this heavy fabric.
@drewfonse
Thank you! I did a initial wash and had to wash them about once a month. I have 2 kids (age 2 and 4) so incidents happen regularly
I wear them daily since 3 months now.
I'm also very happy with the progress. I'm a little concerned about the inner side of my cuffs though. I already rubbed through the seam on both sides.
