  • RE: IHSH-180 - Ultra Heavy Flannel Classic Check Western Shirt

But then I looked at all my other UHF’s and thought how thankful I was for them and the rest of my awesome stuff, in true Thanksgiving spirit and all. And that I’m happy for all the other folks that snagged one. [emoji6]

Damn…I slept on this at SE and went to buy it on sale in XXXL today and now it's gone. Bummer! Would have been my only black friday purchase.

My wife and I’s first anniversary is approaching. I want to get her something nice and that she can have forever. What are some things you guys like to spoil your wives/women with?

I'm really torn on whether to pimp the snaps to the copper or white. Just when I thought I had my heart set on the copper, wife says she likes the black. ::)

The copper snaps have more girth than the others, would they leave marks on the fabric so that once you go copper, you never go back? ???

I hope the rerun comes up with a larger P2P on the big sizes. I’m totally in if so.

Just let so many expletives fly when I saw this restocked and I missed it. My wife reminded me that I still have my cat. And that’s worth a lot to me.

We need to take a moment to talk about snow blindness in cats. It's affecting more and more cats every year, and it scares the living shit out of us.

  • RE: IHSH-178 - 18oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black

FWIW I have found that some IH shirts I would have thought too small to fit P2P can still work well if I don’t intend to layer the shirt.

If you don’t intend on layering this I would look for a size/specimen that fits your sleeve length first and foremost if that’s what you are most concerned about. From the pic the sleeves are the most obvious as being too big, but I think you can go down a fair amount in all the other parameters as well before it’s “too small”

That was a very well said post DrPat - thanks for being an honest fit critic [emoji847]

I agree with the others here to size down at least one. Maybe the crew can find just the right shirt for you where the sleeves came up short!

Also seeing as how this is OD there should be zero shrinkage left…

I also bought a white one for dying…seeing as mine is an XXL I will certainly maybe trust you to dye mine.

Ab-so-lutely, maybe. Probably not, but for sure.

  • RE: IHV-03 17oz Brown Duck Work Vest

    @mister_m:

This is such a great vest. This and the IHV-02DD indigo duck vest are two of my favorite IH pieces that I was never able to get my hands on. The wabash vests are nice, but I really wish IH would release more solid colors of these vests. I would buy one in a heartbeat.

Seconded. I have the 02DD, but would love a regular duck one, and olive, and grey, and maybe even a deep crimson/burgundy. So many options and I think these vests are awesome as they make outfit combinations that much more endless. And I feel like this style vest is a timeless look that people have slept on…

Thank you gang for the input. I went with the cedar ones for the sake of space and for the good smell factor.

So I guess people don’t just disappear from the denim scene. Here goes. They fade away. Couldn’t resist.

  • RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer

I'm looking to get some good quality hangers that will not leave any shoulder marks on my sweet, sweet IH collection.

Here are the two options I'm considering: https://www.containerstore.com/s/premium-cedar-hangers/d?productId=10000060&q=premium cedar hanger

    https://www.containerstore.com/s/closet/hangers/view-all-hangers/euro-hanger/123d?productId=10004077

Any feedback on which you think may be better? I would prefer the cedar ones as they seem more slimline and for the smell. Anyone have something better they use? While we're at it, do you hang your bottoms, and if so what do you hang them on?
