An XL reluctantly about to go on its way back to the crew - looks like the dims on this run of the 33 just aren't for me

This is genuinely such a cool jacket!! It passed me by first time round, so I am glad I found it and managed to snag the last XXL. It fills a gap in the jacket department for me.

There is no perception of a 'secondary' side - both sides have their merit and their own unique charm, and I think lean towards slightly different styling possibilities.

I got very excited then spotted the 34 inseam
Not going to work for these lanky long legs that like a cuff.
I love the feel of this fabric!

@ShopatIronHeart Is the inseam dimension intentional in this case, or a result of the OD process? Where's the love for the lanky twits at?

I sized down in this and I’ve ended up with a better fitting flannel than my regular work shirt UHFs… Short torso, so this seems to cater.. I may need to pay more attention to this ‘overshirt’ option!

Yeah getting that opportunity in person to just put a some sizing/fit queries to rest in Gosport would be awesome! Until then, I’ll be paying my £7 return label for ordering two sizes

@DeeDee85 I felt the same and initially dipped my toe in with a second hand IH-9526V that I got for a steal on eBay a while back. It is a little larger than ideal but consequently works great over an IH hoodie. This has helped me to get used to the concept of wearing a vest. I'm probably (hopefully) going to get one of these in a smaller size / sized to wear over a tee or IH waffle henley (aiming for the kind of fit that @neph93 showcases in this very thread, which I think is superb).
I think you would quite easily pull one of these off, and plenty of fantastic shirts already in your possession to pair this with!
