Is the Iron Heart double stitched? I can't tell by the photos.

Tempted to buy the IH T but the lack of neck stitching put me off a little…

    • RE: Journal Standard / J.S. Homestead

      @Chiba:

Be careful. Lot of the JS and JS Homestead stuff is Made in China. That may or may not be a bad thing. But just beware. White button down shirt I'm wearing right now is JS Homestead. It's quite nice. But I didn't realize until after purchasing that it was indeed Made in China. It's a decent shirt, but I don't think it's worth what I paid for it…...

J.S Homestead is the premium line of Journal Standard, it is exclusively made in Japan.

The quality of JS H shirts is outstanding. The shirt I own ranks above any other brand I own (Freewheelers, other Jap repros, Cabourn etc).

You need to be careful with Journal Standard, some of that is made in China.

I've just finished a lactic acid training programme. 20-second rest intervals and up to 10 sets per exercise. Good for fat loss.

I did consider Andersen-Andersen, it looks seriously heavy-duty. I decided to get a custom handknit instead.

I ordered the Joe Mccoy serviceman chambray. It will be my first Real/Joe Mccoys garments. I have high expectations.

The details in UES shirts are amazing but they fit too small for me 😞

Do the SG sweaters shrink in width?

    • RE: Viberg

Thanks Giles, that's what I thought. I went with a size 9. The 110 last is perfect for me.

    • RE: Viberg

I did wonder because it says copper task suede on the box. I've seen it called copper task rough out elsewhere.

The inside is smooth so I guess it is inside out (rough out) leather.

Does anyone have any info on the copper task suede leather? Is it actually rough out? Is it listed in the Horween tannage list? Thanks.

My feet are standard width and measure 28cm. What size should I go for the chukka?

    • RE: Random questions to which you seek an answer

      Hi guys,
I'm a UK10 in Red Wing chukka but the Red Wing Mocs UK10 were too big, I think I could have easily gone a full size down.

Are the Thorogood Mocs the same size as the Red Wing Mocs?

Has anyone else found the Red Wing Mocs to be bigger than the chukka?

      Cheers

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I'm looking for the heaviest loopwheel sweatshirt money can buy.

How does the Iron Heart compare with Real Mccoy's in terms of weight? The Real Mccoy's sweat fabric is around 12 oz per square yard.
