Super happy with how this one turned out.
Plenty of room for a hoodie under. I have a tendency to roll up my sleeves even with CPOs and jackets, and the wider sleeves allow for this. It's a really versatile piece that filled that need for a pure black heavyweight jacket in my wardrobe.
It's an awesome vest... a little lighter in weight compared to the wabby vests. I'm generally in between sizes but glad I sized down to XS for this reason.

@Goz I think your fit can work as either a shirt or shacket.
I've always preferred more fitted looks, but I have many IH pieces that all fit a bit differently. Several pieces have either started on the larger side or are still on the larger side after many wears. But what I can tell you is that I'm glad I've kept wearing each one because I appreciate being able to have different looks.
My reasoning to myself for keeping the larger pieces is usually "Well, I'll eventually gain a few pounds and it will then fit perfectly". But IH gear is just too good to not find a way to just make it work.
@Luijim78 It may technically be no-fade, but I can tell you that it's surely showing some fades on the front of mine. The pocket on the front is pretty tight (a good thing in my opinion) and it will put pressure on anything you put inside of it.
I'm going to assume the rest of the bag will eventually show fades as well depending on how hard it's used.
This bag is a beast and I use it all the time. I'm tempted to get the IHE-39 red/black when it comes back in stock. It's so good and practical at the same time.
If I didn't already have the 37, I'd get this one. Looks so awesome. But my next bag will now have to be a leather one.
@Luijim78 That makes two of us buddy. Feeling lucky I was able to snag one of the size S as well. There are a few others floating around out there from the stockists, but you're right... not too many.
I picked up a 295-ib during the sale after convincing myself they are both different enough to justify the purchase. Hoping I can give both the wears they deserve when the weather cools back down.
@Yamanunu Looks awesome on you and sounds like the fit is perfect considering 25oz is a beast and definitely a step up from 14.5oz Momos. It's a good sign that the waist feels good right after the soak.

@Luijim78 Congrats buddy. I grabbed an S... really looking forward to this one even though I already have something similar. Hard for me to pass up an IH work vest and the green sulphur dye has my interest.
@Nostradamion I also have both the Lefty OD and now the SBG, and I think there is a time and place for both. 
The Lefty OD is just badass in look and feel. The SBG to me will be slightly more "tamed". And of course, both are totally different colors that will be even more evident as time goes on.
@MassiveThighs In my opinion, it all depends on how you plan to wear it. Although I do agree with @Boit that it looks one size large especially in the shoulders and sleeve length, I think you may be able to pull it off if you plan to wear it as an overshirt.
Maybe try it on with some layers underneath?

Most of my Type 3 jackets are slim fitting, and I also knew about this model's wider sleeves going in. I'm hoping this one will fit nicely into the rotation providing an option for layering under.
@VegaS10 Adding to what @Luijim78 said, it's very wearable. I was pleasantly surprised the first time putting it on. I don't have the Indigo Lefty to compare.. but it's more robust than the 526-SBG.
It might be my favorite IH piece if I had to choose. I also have the 777-21od, and it doesn't feel even close to this jacket. There is just something about wearing the jacket that feels and looks so badass.

@John-Galt @Luijim78 So sorry to both of you... I grabbed the only XS.
I spent a lot of time deciding between the XS and S. I have the IHV-27 and IHV-02-BLK along with another Momotaro sashiko vest and I compared the sizing between all. They all fit a little bit differently and I just felt that the XS for the IHV-47-IND would work best here.
I am surely willing to trade with either of you if my calculations end up being wrong. I know you both were eyeing this piece from the very beginning and I just wish there were more of the smaller sizes made to go around.
@Luijim78 Same here, but I wear my IHE-37 the same way as you are and I don't feel like I'm wearing a fanny pack at all.

@Luijim78 Same here buddy... I'm thinking the "boxier" fit will be just fine.
Same here... went with work shirt sizing for a snug fit. Probably could have also sized up and used the cinch if needed.
@Luijim78 Just keep in mind that these are unsanforised and loomstate, so they will shrink decently upon first soak/wash. The measurements of my 555S-UHR were all around larger than what I normally go for, but after an hourlong very hot soak and gentle agitation, it came out perfect.
Knowing that may help you decide between two sizes depending on the measurements.
@Choko I was thinking exactly the same.
I think what got me confused was the details section mentioning "which can be pimped with a choice of alternative ‘heavy-duty’ snaps". I have no idea why I thought that meant that GAH snaps could not be applied here.
I'd surely do a GAH snap rather than a copper one.
