Outgrew my beatle busters and am looking for a suitable replacement. What current cut of jeans fits closest to the old Beatle Buster fit?

My SBG beatle busters are the comfiest pair of jeans I own due to the top block fitting my body perfectly.  My only gripe with the fit is that it isn't as tapered as I like from the knee down.  Which IH cuts are the closest to the Beatle Buster in the top block, but are more tapered?  I'm between the 555, 777, and Pronto slim cuts currently.

Worth noting too that the fabric is substantially thicker which may throw off measurements a bit.  I can JUST get into the 30s but would probably have opted for 31s if I had known

Great point! If anything, this points to the strength of the denim, " My IH can bend metal, what can yours do?".

More like my ass can bend metal…lol

Anyways after asking around it seems that other folks have had this happen too with other jeans so I'm not too concerned anymore.  Cheers!

Was taking off my jeans today and noticed that the top button was pretty bent… Is this normal? 

Impulse bought the last pair of 30 last night…  my body is ready for the bruises!

For reference, a 38 is M right?  I take the Ih526L in 38 and need to have this..
