I ended up giving it a cold wash instead just to be on the safe side. No perceptible change or shrinkage, but I'm liking the fit a lot now.

So first new Iron Heart purchase! So glad I pulled the trigger on this. Finally cooled down enough here in Sydney to get a fit pic (Still having 30 degree days in April!!  :'(), what do you guys think? This is an XL, I think it pretty spot on. Has a bit more room than my 3sixteen type 3's which I don't mind but I think I could do with a little bit of shrinkage all round, anyone given one of these a warm wash yet?

I don't plan on layering with this jacket, just a t-shirt underneath, so I don't really need extra room, but it's such a great jacket that I almost want to hold onto both.  Due to the way the 2 sizes fit, it's almost like 2 different jackets.

The large does seem more practical because I could layer, or not, and the length makes it work with everything.

Regarding the length, the bottom of the jacket on the medium goes past my belt line but yeah, it took a bit for me to get used to the shorter type III length.

I'm going to sleep on it tonight and decide in the morning.

Yeah dude the large is a good fit, would probably be perfect after a warm wash! I'm wanting to do this with mine?
