I don’t think there will be a lot of creasing. However, the IHJ-82 and this are very different jackets. As this is a winter jacket, I believe the intention is for the sleeve cuff to end half way up the hand so that it comes over gloves.  The IH M-65’s and pea coats are made this way too.

Ok, thanks Neph. Yeah, I wondered as the sleeves are quite a bit longer than the Pea Coat. I have an S in that and it fits me like a glove. Pea Coat S sleeve are 24.4, this in S is 26.2

If anybody is still looking for an XL, keep an eye on Iron Heart Germany next week or so. I ordered two sizes, the XXL fits me better.

Also my local shop Burg & Schild is awaiting their delivery. It's still in customs from what I can gather.

This shirt is definitely my fave IH piece in recent times. I have been wearing it every day since I got it. The fit is just perfect.

The brown duck 888's are not part of the FW20 collection.  They are something that we were doing as an interim release.  Remember, the seasonal collections are interspersed with many items that are not part of a collection as such….

The storm cuff holds the arm up, so will not feel/appear as long as the given measurements, when worn….

Thanks Giles. I did try one on last year at Burg and Schild and I think my arms are shorter than most sadly. Just kills me as I love this jacket!

Aw man, that sucks!  I had that happen to me with the waxed Townes shirt in black.  I ordered it in medium then by the time I realized I should've ordered a large, the larges were all gone.

I'm tempted to pick up the SJ gloves.  I don't really need (I don't ride) but those look like very nice leather gloves!

Ah yeah it hurts when it's not the right size, especially when you get the customs bill on top when it arrives. Luckily they were shipping everything for free when I got my denim Wills jacket so I got priority UPS shipping to Germany for free.

The gloves do indeed look great, like all their stuff.

Managed to grab an IHSW-23 and a IHSH-194-OLV at the B&S sale, they only had one of each. Glad I got in early!

Honestly, the IH forums are one of the most wholesome corners of the Internet.  I love this place!

I ordered a size medium of the denim Wills jacket and it fits as perfectly as possible.  The sleeves are a little long but cuffing them makes them perfect.  I normally go with a large in the IH flannels, if that helps.

I wish you the best at selling the jacket.  It's such a handy jacket!  I love all of the pockets.  I'm wearing mine as I type.  It's probably the most I-don't-care-if-it-gets-dirty jacket that I have, so it gets a ton of use.  I hope you're able to pick up a size medium.

Thanks Paul. Yeah I totally love the jacket, am very gutted about the fit. I actually had an M and switched it to S at the last minute after a load of measurements. Im usually an M with the IH flannels too so I thought I had it nailed. In good news I just picked up a couple of great Iron Heart pieces in the Burg und Schild sale.

First post! Hi all, first I wanted to say how valuable this whole forum has been for me. I have learnt a lot about fits and it has helped me select the right Iron Heart items for me.

This Ship John thread has also been a great help and persuaded me to buy my first Ship John piece, the Kuroki Denim Wills Jacket. Absolutely love the jacket and was so happy when it finally got here (Germany) but it appears it's too small for me.

It fits snugly everywhere except the back billows out at the pleats a bit like a parachute, presumably because the chest is too tight. Has anyone else had this issue?

Obviously there's none left to get a different size, so I'll be on selling this soon. It's never been worn apart from the trying on, and is size S. So if anyone is interested before I officially add it for sale send me a PM.
