RE: Isn’t Iron Heart motorcycle centric?posted in Ignition Works Inc.
@sabergirl you are correct no denim is gonna save your skin in a wreck I’ve personally tested that!! 19oz HeftyLefty, 21/23oz UHR the pavement won. What I’ve always loved about IH is the garments are designed by riders for riders. Most shirts and jackets when you are sitting on you bike with your hands on the bars ride up till they are a 3/4 sleeve not so with IH they fit to your wrists and don’t flap in the breeze cause they aren’t all baggy. But the heavy weight denim does protect a lot of the wind and rocks kicked up. I understand they are trying to expand there sales to new markets. I just old and cranky and don’t want IH to morf in to a skinny jean fashion brand!!! 634 forever forever 634

Stretch denim from Iron Heart? My be practical but I don’t know anyone including me who wears stretch pants. It may be practical but when has ridding motorcycles been anything considered practical I be seen the inside of many ICU’s Don’t get me wrong I’m a hardcore fan of Iron Heart I have spent about $8000 on Iron Heart won’t ride my bike without it. But this seams a little odd from a company that has “Motorcycle Specialties” in there name. I don’t mean to be a dick here but just wondering out loud

@Giles hey thanks for the response. I believe you got a winner with the 816 and I’m am obsessed with it as I have said before in this forum (I have 8 pairs in various fabrics) the new name had me a tad nervous

@Giles is the 720 the slimming down of the 816 cut? I was very excited about these but when I compared the sizing to the 816 brown duck size 34” the leg opening is half an inch smaller and the thigh is as well .4” slimmer. I know different patterns, fabrics, production runs and other factors create differences in final product but the 816 is such a great classic timeless cut I would hate to loose it to the skinny pants fad. RIP 816?

I’m excited about the Iron Heart Racing brand sounds right on point and the So Cal aspect of it makes sense hey this is where drag racing was invented and the whole performance Harley-Davidson scene started here. go on YouTube and put Harley wheelies in the search and all those video are shot in California by Californians with California riders

ok I am a little biased to Calif

I do a lot of EBay sales and purchases for clothing I use USPS and for a pair of 21oz jeans in the lower 48 states is about 7 to 12 US dollars if that’s helpful

RE: Iron Heart - USAposted in News
Wow!! Just saw this thread. Very interesting to me being a Southern California Native and life long motorcycle and auto racing enthusiast, also totally obsessed with Iron Heart. What does this mean will there be a Iron Heart brick and mortar presence here in So Cal? Self Edge is great (they turned me on to you guys) but when I see pictures of the IH Japanese retail shop they look awesome very much motorcycle oriented it makes me want to take a trip to Japan just to check out those stores. Well I’m right here in So Cal a few miles north of Long Beach let me know if you guys need a local who is part of the MC scene here in California to lend a hand! No BS. yours truly Marty”Crowbar”Nation

RE: IH-720 - Olive Green Cotton Whipcord Work Pantsposted in FW18 - Bottoms
I love the 816 cut as I’ve said before in this forum , I’m a working man who has been wearing the traditional polyester rental work pants most my working life and it is such a relief and treat to have the awesome 816 to wear,
I have the 816 in brown duck, navy duck, kaki duck, 16.5 oz indigo double duck, whipcord in olive and grey, the poly cotton in black and grey can’t get enough of this pant so this new olive I’m sure I will not be able to resist FYI GREEN is my color after all PS I’ve been eyeing the 816 black wabash not sure if I can pull those off damn they look classy -

Damn!!! I swore I wasn’t gonna spend any $ except on motorcycle parts till I start working full time (got laid off a couple of months ago) again. Green is my color!!! I have the pants in the same fabric the 816, love this fabric. How do I justify this purchase? I already have 6 Iron Heart truckers one Sam one PBJ one Warehouse & Co one Denime and probably 10 Levi’s But all those truckers and not one is green. Debt?

. Iron Heart you guys just keep cranking out all this awesome stuff
