RE: Show us your boots
I had a pair of smooth ostrich and they're so soft. They were just Ariat but we're great. To big so they were moved on. Never brave enough for full quill

RE: New Iron Heart Website - Launching Soon!
It's crazy to me that in 2025 it takes days to migrate a website. There's gotta be so much involved that I can't even fathom I guess. I build physical PCs in a few hours. Probably a lot of testing and checking details takes a lot of time for this. I'm just generally curious too. Not jonesing for IH. Not yet at least ..

RE: New Iron Heart Website - Launching Soon!
Exciting post from Haraki on FB. Translates to 25oz now in stock. For Japan and who knows the cuts but wheels are in motion.

RE: New Iron Heart Website - Launching Soon!
Will this eliminate the different versions aka Iron Heart America/UK/International? For me the click to items like the season preview or future releases would leave Ironheartamerica.
Never a huge deal just curious. -
RE: Aero Leathers
Badalassi leather smells almost as good as it looks. The staff at my endocrinologist office asked me to leave it on the hangar when I was leaving

RE: IHSH-416-IND - 10oz Wabash Short Sleeved Mechanic Shirt - Indigo
I'm usually a 3x in IH. This shirt is a 2x and is on the edge of being to big. The XL length made this my cutoff choice. Got it from an eBay seller in Japan so I was ok with the risk.

RE: Summer wardrobe rotation
I've got a nice knack for not minding jeans in the summer. I'm not crazy or anything but my legs can stand the heat longer than the top block. I'm working on my rotation

@Igneous I love mine. Wickett and Craig Brown with cream stitching. Taken/taking a long time to break in.

RE: Monster double pronged belt! Natural vegetable tanned leather.
I took a quality belt I had shrunk out of to an Amish leather worker who took about 3.5" off and now it fits great again. Simple task with the right tools.

RE: Monster double pronged belt! Natural vegetable tanned leather.
I'm 37 to the middle hole.

So it's 39" to the middle hole? What size waist are you? Thanks

RE: IHM-43-NAV - Nylon Type L-2B Flight Jacket - Navy Blue
@RubyRae said in IHM-43-NAV - Nylon Type L-2B Flight Jacket - Navy Blue:
This jacket sold out so fast I thought we might see more posts. I'm guessing lower numbers produced?
This thing vanished. I'm always looking to no avail.

RE: Anyone here play video games?
I "registered interest" for Switch 2 on Nintendo's website today. Not sure how long that's been going on. Probably to late. Still no pre order dates here in the USA. Coming from China mtl this could get interesting. I'm a sucker for Mario kart ...

RE: IH-526-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Modified Type III Jacket - Superblack (Fades To Grey)
I've only machine washed one iron heart denim item. It looked that same way lol. And I did a soak. It's the spin cycle mtl. Now I hand wash in a bin. Snap a few times and hand dry

Summer wardrobe rotation
So I dropped most of my UHF's into the basement closet. Per the norms with freshly sanded cedar blocks and every other shirt on a cedar hangar.
Up come my summer favorites and as I'm only a few years into heritage I'm only at 3 IH summer specific shirts. Soon to be 4 if double gauze gets a date... My wife loves and hates my "cruise wear" as she calls it. A Seinfeld joke. The newest is a cheap polyester that's a few summers old now. In my mind it's a shirt Don Draper would wear. It's the white with the geometric shapes.
My "fish shirt" is legendary. This is is actually the second iteration of this shirt made by Ralph Lauren's Chaps offshoot. The first fish shirt was worn into shirt vapor and had to tossed. Then I found a "new" one on eBay and it's back. I've been complimented and made fun of wearing it many times.
You'll also see my Birdwell white Terry cloth polo. They stopped making them so I'm extra careful with it. The most comfortable and flattering shirt I have. Drapes so well. All that's missing now is the warm.
