@concretor it was fun. Never a reason to buy anything for me. I did enjoy last year it was a big surprise when they arrived. This year I looked forward to them and planned on their use. Fatal mistake it seems! I've also ruined a pair of XHS in the same week so it's been a rough IH week here.

The butt and knees look cool. The leg opening is bigger than I expected. Crazy what a single inch adds. Lost 3/4" waist and 1.25" inseam. Leg opening zero/negligible change.

So at work, the bus got stuck in snow. My aid is 65+ so I had him gas while I and another pushed. Ended up using some boxed kitty litter and it worked. But sprayed all over my legs.
First I soaked in warm water. Looked clean until dry. Not clean. So then I washed normally inside out no spin. Still stained. Third I washed right side out warm with regular tide. The clay will not go away. I've warmed the spots and brushed vigorously (horsehair).
Anything that will keep these from goodwill I'm ready to do at this point. The fades are trash but I'll still wear them if they're not spotty. Any help is appreciated

Laying on towels to dry. It's more satisfying in July.

Got stuck in a driveway(short bus). Lucky I had an aid to gas while I pushed... The result was success but messy. I almost wore my new XHSib. Whew.

It's a toss up for me. This cut is awesome for sure. I can "easily" get 2 fingers inside the waist band. I'd soak in them in cold-ish water to limit waist shrink. What say you?!

@Blanco yeah, much more than that and cuff size starts to become an issue. Not a heavyweight denim but crease/folding the sleeve as with a shirt will not work.

@Blanco a decent tailor/seamstress is your friend. Sleeves are not difficult or expensive to have altered. I've had 3 or 4 shirts/CPO. Just on you to make sure they know what they're doing 🫦

@ShopatIronHeart any way to get this side by side with a 526Lod? I really just need to keep wearing the lefty but this one is really nice in the photos. You all are doing good work lol

And my concerns were realized as my ib were weather delayed till tomorrow. Of course tomorrow I have routes all day so I'll probably end up getting them Friday at the UPS store. Unless the UPS truck has a gps

So after a complete non scientific two day comparison... I'm putting this jacket as significantly warmer than my whipcord N1. Today I have been much more comfortable outside in the Melton Wool than yesterday in the N1. It's colder today also by about 7-10°. This jacket does fit better, the N1 is a size to big. That could play a factor I imagine.

@PJ almost makes you happy it's -degrees out right?

My order is scheduled to deliver tomorrow. We'll see with the weather. I'll call them mine when/if they fit. It's going to be close.
