I've never understood the lack of interest in black denim. It looks great and it's practical. I get that people want to fade things but a solid pair of black jeans is a must have in everyone's wardrobe.
Paul, these should get much crazier than just black over time I'm thinking but might take a LONG time.
You going to go for these also? I'm loving my IH-888S-SBG just a little worried these will be too similar.. debating on going with the XHSib instead.

Picked these up yesterday, hoping they fit! Will be my first non 888/633, wanted to try something more slim.
Considering these are unwashed but sanforized, I assume the shrinkage will be minimal.
Am I safe to put these guys on immediately and just factor in a half inch for inseam shrinkage?
Or do I treat these like an unsanforized pair since they are unwashed and hot soak them right out of the bag?

I did my first wash recently due to some serious bulldog slobber. These are starting to look great.
I’m going off SE measurements on both cuts.
Agreed the rise is much different. I don’t always want my pants hiked up that high personally. But I love my 888’s also.
As far as the thighs not fitting, the 633 has a half inch more in the thigh measurement so that doesn’t make sense.
I didn’t want to wait for the 888-XHS, so I nabbed the 633-XHS from SE and I’m loving them, the low rise makes the cut feel even more relaxed. Zero regrets. That being said the flagship 21 oz is still my favorite.

Quick note but I had an awesome visit with my brother last month in SE-NYC. Was able to pick out a perfect fit in a 526J-142OD, went with XXL and I'm loving the jacket ;D.
