thanks twin! so I've worn them about 3 weeks...moving apartments, mowing the lawn, working on the car and wearing them to work. decided to give them a proper machine wash (cold/gentle/top load no agitator/hang dry) and here are the post wash measurements and fit pics-----
Waist: 16.25"
Front Rise: 10.25"
Back Rise: 15.1"
Thigh: 11.5"
Knee: 7.25"
Hem: 7"
Inseam: 36.5"
@JunkPants put em in a warm soak late last night and agitated them a bit. will report back with post-soak measurments when they're dry. kinda want to put them on a little damp but I might just let them fully dry and take accurate measurements. also will mink oil the patch before wear
These things are NO JOKE. The fit is absolutely perfect on the waist (surprisingly a big size 30 which I was hoping for) They are pretty damn tight on the thigh and knee but I'll live once they stretch a little
My concern is soaking them, I'm wondering if I should just go for it and get it done so I can get to stretching them back out.

well I ordered the last pair of 555 XHSib from Iron Heart Germany. wish me luck! 
@Jett129 so I tried on the standard 25oz today in size 30 (only size Mildblend had in 555 xhs) and I have to say the legs/rise/thighs are just right but I could not get the buttons fastened due to how thick the denim is LOL. I want to say the size 30 xhs fits larger than my size 31 (21oz) in all measurements except the waist. hmmm...
considering ordering a size 30 on these (since it is all I can find in stock). the measurements list a 31.2" waist. these would be ideal if stretched to a 32" waist. my question is will the waist ever stretch to that 32" if it shrinks down from 31.2" to 30.2"??

iron heart with the rick owens is TUFF
damn I don't need another pair of jeans.... but the 301's have my interest. are they more like a 555 with more of a taper/smaller leg opening?? the "slightly higher rise" adjustment also sounds like it will be a good thing for me too

@JunkPants haven't made the leap to 25oz yet. I did try them on once at mildblend in Chicago and they were BEEFY. currently I'm wearing 21oz 634s. gotta make a trip to the city tomorrow to get these 555s hemmed up and i'll be ready to bust these ones in!
just popped open a package with a fresh pair of 555's! seems to be a good fit. I have them rolled in about to where i'm going to have them hemmed. probably stack a little more i didnt measure
anyways, thanks to the IH crew for helping me pick out a good pair!

@Oaktavia next wash I'll try the full hour! this time i really only soaked for 10 minutes prior to washing
6 months, first wash.... despite washing inside out/cold/gentle and pulling them out before the spin, I still got the ugly washing machine fades. but i'm rolling with it! put some mink oil on the patch aswell
coming up on 3 months everyday wear. caught in the rain once. 100% soaked thru and wore until dry...lol. no wash yet
