@tody sounds great. Couldn’t be more different from my Saturday night. Just a man, a guitar and a small room (295 seats). No pics as I was in his eye line, but a thoroughly enjoyable first experience of someone once described as Scunthorpe’s finest export (Stephen Fretwell).

No pics but you can have a link! I’m in town for a concert later so I thought I’d check out the Skate 50 exhibition first.

I don’t skate. I never have. I lacked the coordination and (if I’m honest) the balls when I was growing up . But …

… the undercroft beneath the Queen Elizabeth Hall is one of those fabulous places where different words collide and everyone seems to rub along together. It’s a place I have grown to love because of this and it was cool to learn a bit more about its origins and some of its stories.

Worth checking out if you’re in London in the next week.

Thanks @steelworker. It’s still settling in but it’s going to be great. I got lucky with the cooler weather yesterday as it’s not really a summer jacket.

I thought this could be fun. Same idea as yesterday but everything’s different (even what you can’t see) except for the rings. Let’s see if you can work it out.
