I’m not an active contributor to this thread as I only have a handful of 45s that belonged to my parents and nothing to play them on, but @endo and @GraemeE reminded me that I’ve got these. Do any seasoned vest wearers have thoughts on interpreting the P2P measurements? This could well be my first vest so I can’t compare with a similar item. It looks like the P2P line is lower on the body than on a shirt, giving a smaller measurement, but if I’m going to wear it over a shirt maybe I need to allow for that. So should I be looking at a P2P roughly the same as or slightly under what I’d look for on a work shirt?
I’ve looked for similar questions on other vest threads, but I couldn’t find quite what I was looking for.

I needed to do a quick pocket bag repair on my 720s (nothing major, just reinforcing the secondary stitching at the bottom of one of the back pockets) and noticed the contrast between the whipcord upper pocket lining (vertically oriented in the second pic) and the outer surface of the pants. Admittedly it’s quite subtle, but it made me happy and shows even non-fading fabrics give something back if you give them enough time.
@sabergirl Reeves's muntjac. They’re fairly common near me but don’t often come into the garden.

This was unexpectedly challenging. I’m a slow fader and my most faded jeans are currently in Gosport for repair. The only thing I could think of was to adopt a hybrid approach.

In a way, this was a posthumous gift to me from my mum, facilitated by HMRC. She was always telling me I needed a proper coat and this is Proper and should last a lifetime! The maritime heritage is also a nod to my grandad’s years at sea.
