I'm going to regret not buying this jacket, I already know it!!
It's an instant under the radar classic

Could it be because it doesn't have the Iron Heart logo/ print on it? I personally don't like it and prefer both my outerwear and knits and sweats to be plain. I do love the W on almost everything though.
PS: Looks like this is the first cordura windbreaker without the print on it?

A quick search confirmed my initial thoughts:
https://www.ironheart.co.uk/search?controller=search&orderby=position&orderway=desc&search_query=cordura+windbreakerBut I don't know the history of extinct items… unless they're all displayed there already. In that case... there's a pattern

The Ihj-06 had no print, but that cordura was another thing entirely, it’s still hard to move my arms lol.
And I’ve been a critic of the print since it started. It’s a hard no for me too. There were several awesome colorways that I couldn’t buy because of it. But that “W” is wonderful branding, very appropriate.
Having worn my ihj-06 for eight years and having two ihj-60’s (the denim version of this essentially), I can say these are an essential piece of IH outerwear.

Put on an IHT, an IHSW and this IHJ and you’re good in almost any weather

Someone awesome has just pimped one of these with Good Art 17mm Rosette Snaps you can see it on the Snap Upgrade thread

One of the many things that appeal to me about Iron Heart is the mostly logo-free clothing. I automatically steer away from most IH wear with big prints/logos, so I would agree with you that's why earlier iterations of this jacket sold poorly?
Though this jacket looks amazing, I have too many black technical jackets now

OK. I'll talk about logo's again. We are a Japanese brand, in Japan logo's are desirable, and in fact most of Asia too….
So that is why much of our stuff comes with Logos. The Japanese version of this jacket is still logo'd.
Iron Heart International has grown over the years and our volumes are sufficient for me to give IHJP and the factories the added aggro of doing a printed and non-printed version of some items.
And sometimes, I just can't be bothered to give H the aggro.
And at the end of the day, if you don't like it you don't have to buy it.

I completely understand Giles, I was just adding to the theory as why this type of jacket might not have sold well in the past. I'm happy that Iron Heart is growing and reaching out to more people, it's a win-win all the way around for everyone that loves the brand!

Yea I knew we were walking a thin line. Had no intention of beating the dead shrubbery again. I just added to the banter to contrast those past iterations with this particular jacket in hopes of hyping it up so people realize how ideal this variant is amongst the lineage of IH ‘breakers. I’m not much of a hype man obviously lol
