We have plenty of said decommisioned warships not 800 yards from here (Rotten Row - they call it).  I want my brass brassy not grey….....................

old antique shops/reclamation yards might be even better for your quest,,,but knowing you,,yer staircase is a doozy and needs specialist brass,,,

I have all the rods.  We have 9 flights of stairs and I have been collecting the rods for years.  Finding the brackets will be impossible….............

He's exaggerating.  We have 6 x half flights (4-storey house) with a little turn on one stairway.  G likes to exaggerate
