Haha, I know your fandom makes you delusional, and I'm the same way with my teams so I understand but…
Defense can only take you so far when you will easily have the worst offense in the playoffs and you won't be playing the likes of St. Louis and Arizona.
I say good luck to you but I don't see Alex Smith taking you very far

Give it a few years. Cam has accomplished more in this year than Alex Smith has in his whole career. Both #1 picks if you recall.

Congratulations to the Cards for their win. Niners didn't play nearly as good as they usual do. Its whatever. A lose is a lose.
Although, if that stupid ass challenge flag didn't freeze the kicker we wouldn't have lost. Better yet, that trick play would have gave us a 7 point lead. Good game though.

Harbaugh is a smart guy and he's vastly improved the offense to run around high percentage short yardage plays (Vernon Davis), primarily centered on the threat of Gore. I'm not really convinced Alex Smith and the rest of the receiving core are capable of doing much else.
But Harbaugh can probably figure something out to win games most of the time.

I'm not sure about you guys but we have a great receiving core. If Smith threw more like Brees or Rogers, we'd be unstoppable.
But I do agree on one thing, Harbaugh totally turned this team around. We'll see how volatile he'll be next year.

Missing the game today because of work.
I'm forsure planning ahead during the post-season..If you can keep your eye/ phone/ computer here I will update it regularly. Decided instead of getting wasted with friends at a ar I would stay home and wrap holiday gifts… Go Niners!!!
