^Agreed.  The black adds a nice element to the piece.  Almost gives it a looming effect.

I would call this "done".  I probably have a few hours of just cleaning up some things on the picture.  Hopefully I can keep the ball rolling and do at least a few more in the coming months.

^^^^He's absolutely gonna love that! Awesome feathering you've done to the edges, it gives the whole image vibrancy!
