      @madmonday:

      Need jeans & work pants, made well with a tapper & interesting fabrics. Think I'm a  true 33 at the moment but my inseam is about 30.

      Any ideas???

      633s-ii for the jeans? I really love the 633 cut. Slim, but roomy enough to be comfortable and that indigo-indigo looks awesome.

            Thanks, I didn't see the buttonholes in the wind flap and thought this might be another jacket without buttons.

                Where can I find Patagonia gear somewhat cheaper online? Preferably in the EU. Looking to buy a Patagonia Stormfront Roll Top Pack, and they don't seem too easy to come by.

                      If I wanted to hem my jeans to 32", at what length should I cut to account for the folds??

                      I'm looking for the answer now, just thought I'd ask in case anyone knows real quick…

                            Well it depends on your seam depth.  We cut one inch longer than the desired end result for jeans on our Union Specials, if we are doing a chino type hem on the walking foot, then we cut to 2.5 inches longer.

                              Hopefully I assumed correct…

                              Chino hem on jeans :-\ not cool.

                                  That's my bad.  Sorry.

                                  Thank you for the thorough answer, @dylantbmayes & @Giles, I should've clarified my question, but had no idea of the right way to phrase it.

                                  I have a pair of jeans that have not been hemmed and are full length at 36". I wanted to cuff the jeans so that I can wear them now in the short term, but I didn't want to cuff them so much that when I finally got around to having them hemmed, the abrasion marks would be too "high" up the inseam to retain my desired length hem (32")…

                                  It sounded like a long winded question in my head, so I just asked the vague version.

                                  Thank you for providing such accurate detail.  I got the perfect answer. Thank you both. Love the forum knowledge!  😃

                                        Hello everyone and thanks in advance for your replies. I live in south florida and have had the 634s for about 2 years and love them. However I would like another pair in a slimmer fit and another type of denim.  So how much does the 18oz denim breath?  The 21oz is fine in hot weather IMO, so I am curious if the tighter weave of the 18 would be to hot for where I live.  I may end up with another 21oz in another fit but it would be nice to try something new.

                                          The 18 oz is a very tight weave and doesn't breathe nearly as well. Have you considered the 633?
