        Do I want…..

        A) The TW check work shirt.

        😎 A Seiko Monster Watch

        :-\

Mega, if you get a used Monster then make super double sure that the link pin collars come with any removed links, they are a massive bastard to buy on their own.

Thanks for the tip J  🙂

I suppose I should really have asked which first? But I think I have made a decision .

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

I'd go with the TW shirt first.  No telling how long it will be around, but you can buy a Monster anytime the mood strikes.  There are millions of them out there; literally, millions…

Is it possible to taper a shirt?.. Concerning my IHSH-68… I don't care about the gussets or chainstitch run-off, just would like it tapered like a western shirt...

It is. I have had a number of my XL Gitman shirts tapered to more of a large fit since I lost weight.

Thing is: I just want the waist opening smaller… That's it...

Contacted my collegue: she's able to do it... So I'll bring some pins and the 68 to work on Friday  ::)

It seems to me that TW Westerns seem to be consistently longer in the body and sleeve than IH Westerns. Am I dreaming? If not, is there a reason? (in XXXL at least)

Nope - same with a size Medium. About 1 to 1.5" longer. Not a good thing for me personally, might be for others though…

You know? You guys know more about sizing than me.  I am a peasant, I measure (well Paula does) and then publish, then I move on to the next thing…..Whilst you are complete and utter experts in your own size.....

What I can tell you is that the measurements are all done to the same methodology by Paula, so whatever the measurements are is what they are......

Just curious more than anything. Personally, I'd rather see the TW sizing carried into the IH line but I realise I may be a minority opinion there 🙂

Does IH make all their products from locally sourced (i.e. made in Japan) materials (e.g. shirting fabric, rivets, zippers, thread, buttons, belt buckles, leather for tags, wallets and belts, etc etc.) ?  The question is not applicable to the denim fabric since that's made in Japan.

Thanks Zwer. I am aware of that FAQ page. However, my question was not about where they are made.
