just looked above my post & i agree with jaco. it is fine to wash your flannels.  i will admit i do baby mine & wash delicate & all that jazz, but they have never come out an worse for wear when my wife washes them on a regular setting with regular soap.

now my black armor you will not be getting in any washing machines

monday - i think ur washer has that option where you can pick the load size..just throw in the 08 , wash warm and pick large , so you have more water than needed and do a no spin , should be fine…

don't want to spend much more than the HM costs which is around $800.

Don't have recommendations for alternatives, but I would stay away from the Aeron, unless you've spent several hours sitting in one and know you like it.  I used one for a couple of months at work and could never get it adjusted into a comfortable setting.  Soured me on them considerably.  They look cool, though.
