So tempting to try Double OD with my newly ordered 555-01od. Similar size with IH-526j old version? My 526j is Medium.

I think doubling up in OD is actually easier than doubling on indigo. I have two jackets, one CPO and two pairs of jeans in OD, all in different phases of wear rangling from well faded to brand new, and I wouldn’t hesitate to combine any of them.
As for sizing use the compare function on the site. I had a look for you and I would say the L in the IH-525-22OD comes closer to the IH-526j. But you should definitely have a look yourself.

I don’t know how many of these have been sold but I’m going to try a populate this thread often over the next few years. The plan is to wear this regularly over a single layer, then use it as a shirt, under the C3 vest or N-1 jacket in the colder months. There is also a very real risk of me getting the ivory/white N-1 vest from FW20 when they drop, just because I think it will look awesomeballs over this.

It is indeed and me too. It seems a deeper richer black than 21oz or 18oz OD. That could be the brown weft, the dark indigo base, or my imagination. But it is sexy.
Fades are starting in mine looking like they should so far.

It’s the honeycombs on the inside arm and a spot where the strap on my bag sits. Nothing earth shattering, it hasn’t been worn that much, but a promising start.
