Tellason

Oxford is great. Lighter weight than UES, similar to beams/wythe. Has a unique smoothness and sheen to it. Seems well made with a an easy drape. I like the fit - XL is just a hair big in sleeve length, shoulders, and chest but I wanted it roomy and believe I could get a bit of shrink if I change my mind on that. Good size chest pocket easily swallows an iPhone. No button on the forearm or back of neck but not a problem for me.

Mine shrank a good amount after a wash and dry

@68degreesorless looks awesome!

@Jakederoche interesting they say on the website the fabric is prewashed and I didn’t see much shrink with a hot wash and air dry. I’m enjoying the roomier fit so will not machine dry for now.
-
@68degreesorless I’ve found that everything I own shrinks a little bit after a few washes regardless if the description says pre-rinse or pre-washed.
I’m not very particular with the way I wash things. Aside from a very few items I own, everything is typically washed hot/cold and then put in the dryer for about 70 minutes.
If you would prefer it not to shrink, I would recommend washing cold and hanging dry

@GraemeE sick! Love their chore coat design.
Pete and Tony are good dudes too! We just bought my brother in law their blanket lined type 3 as a 50th birthday gift. I emailed them a question and instead of emailing me a response Pete called me back on his cell and told me to reach out directly if I need anything. Damn good service.

I’ve been on the hunt for a Tellason coverall jacket in the white oak cone mills denim for quite some time now. As @GraemeE has been on the hunt with me and has offered his expertise in chore coat history along the way, he can attest to my mild obsession.
To no avail has a “vintage” Tellason white oak coverall found its way to me. However, as the denim gods would find it to their divine wisdom to shine down on me, Tellason just released their Montana chore coat in a small batch dead stock White Oak Cone Mills selvedge 13.5oz denim. The indigo rays shined down and I knew this was the one!!
My first chore coat in the historical denim I’ve been hunting for:

@Mizmazzle great fit
Is this the medium or large?

That’s a beaut
