IH-888S-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise SBG
-
@WhiskeySandwich you seemed to have nailed the fit. I've seen your photos. Trial and error I guess. Just ordered a different pair of UHR 888s with tweaked measurements. Yep, still 888 & 633 for me

-
@weftyarn looks so good dude! on day 64 of my 666 and starting to see the grey pop in a few places. how many washes/soaks do you have on these??
-
First day! Slight delay due to the weather here, but worth the wait! Size was perfect too thanks to the team’s recommendation!

-
@Kurbrubador They look cool on you, bro

-
Oh man how are these sooooo soft omg. (That's semi-rhetorical, I assume it's something to do with the weft being dyed and with the dye itself). I was on the fence and mostly trying to convince myself not to pick these up, as I'm really not a black jeans guy since like 30 years ago when I was goth in high school, but I love the 21oz denim and I love the 888 cut and I knew I'd have a nagging regret for like the next 5 years if I didn't pick up a pair.
Wow, these are amazing. So glad I pulled the trigger.
@Kurbrubador mine just came today too, and I'm rockin' the same Chucks and the same huge double cuff lol. Haven't quite figured out what I want to do with the hem here yet but these look great with the double cuff don't they? Nice fit, man!
-
@twinning wasn’t sure what to do with the cuff yet so just went big for now. Yeah it goes really well with chucks
-
I have literally taken off my 888 21oz bb non fade to black jeans and just put on my newly arrived fade to grey version and I am pleasantly surprised how much softer these feel. Other than the top button it feels like they don’t even require a break in period.
They also feel somewhat stretchy too.
Awesome stuff

-
@Rustygate37 love this. Just did the reverse. Picked up the non-fade to go with the SBGs.
-
@crollee nice one.
I’d be very interested to hear your first impressions when they arrive to see if you too notice a difference.
Either way I enjoy them both -
Decided I needed a pair of black jeans and picked up a pair today. This is my first pair of jeans in the 21oz denim and they do not disappoint.
Given I got rid of all my older pairs of jeans and am currently working on a pair of 18oz denim, this sbg pair will allow me to wear most of my indigo shirts as it gives me contrast. My 18oz indigo jeans are not showing signs of fading yet to have enough contrast with my shirts.
Just my own opinion but I cannot stand to wear a same color top and jeans that almost look the same color even if the texture is different. That is just me though lol.
-
@Ral1121 couldn’t agree more. I’m not a dual indigo denim man myself.
-
@Ral1121 I am the same also. Got to be a noticeable difference in my jeans and shirt.
-
I like double denim. Lol.
-
@Richard I don’t mind double denim is there is a noticeable difference. For me one or the other needs to be pretty faded to create the contrast. All my jeans look pretty much new lol as I am not hard on them. I usually only wear jeans to the office for a white collar type job. I sit at a desk most the day.
-

Got them in a few days ago and I’m surprised at how soft they are, even compared to my other 21ozs. Loving them so far -
I have 14oz, but no 21,23,25oz. Seriously considering getting these 21oz in a size up, as a comfy warmer, thicker, pair for lounging around the house in winter.
-
@GreatDenimFan 21oz is my favourite, it's really comfortable and requires little break in (if any)
-
Hello! I’ve only got about 30 or so wears on mine (just got them from the most recent restock) and where the cuff folds has worn incredibly thin, on the verge of being a hole. Is this normal? I wear them with vans almost every day and I work indoors. I was just curious if this is normal for them! Thank you guys!
-
Where you cuff them will wear faster but that seems excessive after only 30 wears. When wearing them with your vans, do they drag on the ground when walking? This is my only thought.
