Okay cool. Do you think i might get atleast an inch of stretch in the waist?

Im asking because, I just got a pair in the mail and they are the same size as my indigo 888s, though they feel a little tight. I remember buying my 888s on the tighter side, and they stretched out a lot, maybe even a little more than I would have wanted them too. Just want to make sure that these will give enough, I cannot imagine being happy with the next size up.

You should get an inch without a problem. As said, may take a little more effort than with the 21oz, but it will get there.

Can confirm. Just keep moving and grooving in your SBGs & you’ll get that stretch.

Just snagged the last pair of 32s. Hemmed and sent out immediately by the boys and arrived at my door the next day. Excellent service and I couldn’t be happier with the fit. 2nd pair of 888. Never change.

Please excuse the exposed navel, it was for a fit check on another forum.

Congratulations. Great denim. And a tasty 888 for too.

Whenever possible, I go heavier.  25oz has been my favorite, hands down. 21oz is the next best thing available at the moment.

That was the first thought that struck me. Why buy 14oz if you can buy 21oz?

I was going to add the caveat based on hot climate but I've seen people in ridiculously hot climates rocking 21oz with big smiles on their faces 🙂

I should add that 21/23oz UHR is my second favorite after 25oz XHSib. Almost forgot and I just changed out of them!

The word is that the relatively tight weave of the 14oz means it isn’t that the 21oz is as good an option in warmer climates. I can’t confirm that personally, bit it has been said more than once.

I am excited! I probably haven't had a black pair of jeans 25yrs.
