Woops too much agitation. Same wash as 21ib but these are far more prone to marbling. Still cool. Still drying, more pics later

@WhiskeySandwich I had a touch of marbling on my first wash with the xHS bb…faded out pretty quickly. I feel like marbling becomes less an issue with future washes as they fade out more.

Well I presoaked these for a good long time in plain cold water, but the washer did a number on these. They’ll be “outdoor duty” from now on. With more wear I’m sure it’ll all blend.

So, I've worn these the past few days and the random bright marbles have very much toned down somehow. I'll have to do some more pics and get those comparison shots with the 21ib

@WhiskeySandwich that’s good to hear man. The first time I washed my XHSbb they had a bit of marbling. I was really surprised how quickly it blended in and faded out. Sometimes it seems once the initial shock/ gut punch subsides so does the marbling itself haha

@Mizmazzle it worked out, I almost felt like I ruined them but a few days of walking in the rain evened it out. did learn to treat these different than my other denim though. SBG does not like being scrunched up and agitated. 100% sticking to soapy soaks from now on.

@WhiskeySandwich fair enough! Another thing I’ve noticed is the more they fade the less ya need to worry about marbling.

A little fade update. Lighting makes such a huge difference with these.

Still a long way to go and it’s getting hotter by the minute haha
But love the way they age with the subtle marbling and stuff.

That patch though… Something must have went wrong with this one. It just looks so helpless

First day of wear (perfect time for summer) & very happy with the fit.

Went ahead and hemmed them so I really hope I don’t accidentally shrink the inseam. Feel free to recommend me care advice so that doesn’t happen

@alvory Being that these are: Sanforized and one-washed - little to no shrinkage to be expected, you should be fine.

To minimize the risk completely, wash in cold water.
