OGL Special/Adhoc Releases

With our leathercrafting facilities, we sometimes produced 'Special/Adhoc' leather pieces that are not in the standard collection. There are many reasons to this, and one of the most common is the limited supply of certain rare leather, thus unable for us to include them into staple, consistent releases.
Of course, the other reason for making such 'Specials' is simply because we have some time and in a good mood  ;).

In any case, here they are whenever they are freshly made and available.

Literally, completed the handstitching yesterday, took some pictures and upload. Totally fresh!

Shell Cordovan Leather Key Fob, handstitched.
Just 5 pieces stitched up.
Black and Walnut.

The durability of machine-stitch and hand-stitch are the same, the only difference is, you can achieve front and back stitching line as identical as possible.
This will be the reason for craftsmanship.

Some pictures of the handstitching process. This is a traditional method and this techniques is saddle-stitching (or pony-stitching), which uses 2 needles. It is time consuming and requires a lot of the crafter's concentration.

A few of these Leather Pouch were produced last week. Previously, we bought some brass hardware and included these Spring Clasp to try. They were kept away until last week when we thought we can make some small items with them.

About 7.5cm x 7.5cm, it is a utility storage pouch for your small accessories, even bills and coins.
