Great cut, great material, but either the thighs are too tight or the waist is too big… impossible to make them work for me
[/quote]Thanks for the support. The 555 is definitely my favorite fit. Different strokes for sure. Although I have several other pair (don’t we all), I always end up wearing my 555. Hence why I needed a new pair. The everyday pair need some darning love.
But also, you’re doing just fine with your fits.

Also, no snitching on my vans work boot. I’m the only employee in this shop. Vans fit my company dress code when I don’t feel like dealing with boots.

It has been a great few years since finding IH, experimenting with their cuts and sizes. I think I’ve owned them all with the exception of the 633, 1955 and 461. In think with effort and perserverance (or just not giving a fekk), you can make them all work for you.
The 555 is the one that I’d like to be able to wear more comfortably. I’ve had two pairs I had to move on but still have my IH-555-01’s that are soon to be six years old. They gave up on not fitting me before I gave up on not fitting into them [emoji1]
Now if Haraki-San or @Giles could just give the Pronto tapered cut a lot number and make it in every other denim I’d be set for life.

Funny you say that. I have a pair of those prontos I bought second hand on Grailed. They’re too big and loose for my taste. I’ve never worn them. I know they’d be too big for you, they’re 36, or I’d send them your way.

Same here. Even though I have down sized my quads I still can’t get them to work.
Hopefully a 888 in the same denim comes soon
