IHW-03 - Melton Wool CPO Jacket

It looks awesome. I was considering getting one of SE's CPOs because I wear short sleeve tees all the time (just put on heavier jackets wen it gets cold) because it's not scratchy and lined, but I prefer solid black. Probably going to get this instead

So is this really the IHW-03? As in, followup to the IHW-01 and IHW-02? As in, there's not gonna be an IHW-03 in different colorways which has a design like the first two shirt-jackets?

Cause it really is quite a different design… the zip, the pockets, the lining, the cuffs.
This is more like the wicked ass bastard child of the IHW-01 and the CPO jacket.
I love it, yes, want one, plan to get one if I can, just sayin.

i think it looks just like last seasons IHW-02  aka the Melton Wool CPO Jacket.  i'm just waiting patiently since i think i'm going to pass on this.  i have way too much outerwear

ah, I'm sure you're right, forgot the IHW-02 tag was for the jacket, this being the 03 would make sense then…

so then the new IHW-01 are still likely to happen as well.(?)

Yep, and i will be purchasing at least one. Super stoked. I forget if they are black and navy though? I always felt those colors were a bit too close to each other to own both (IMO)

Black and Navy, though in the Flannel, there is more difference in the colours than in the wool…

The size small IHW-02 (assuming same measurements) has the measurements of a shirt that fits slightly relaxed on me.  Should I size up to a medium for the coat or stay small?

Well.  I normally wear L in IH shirts.  I CAN wear an L in the IHW-02, but only over a Tee.  I size up to XL to wear over more than just a Tee.  So I think the short answer is, size up to a medium…...
