Mods LOVE x-posting (and we may do it for you).

Ladies and gentlemen, at the end of this post is an important announcement from the moderators. You can skip to that if you like. First though, some background info.
After a recent discussion on the forum about x-posting between What Are You Wearing Today (WAYWT) and product threads, The Mod Squad and the Stubborn Crew had a little chat and would like to make it clear that we don't discourage x-posting and especially not between WAYWT and product threads. In fact we positively encourage it and would be very happy if people did it more often.
The reasons for this are as follows. The forum is hopefully a fun, entertaining place, but it is also very much intended as a dynamic resource for existing IH customers, potential customers, fans and other interested parties. The WAYWT thread is rightly popular and draws a lot of input and attention. We appreciate that enormously, long may it continue. However, as the IH product catalogue grows, the product threads are used less and less and that spoils their function as a resource for buyers and browsers. This sometimes leaves product threads with no (or very few) "in the wild" pics and we think this is a shame. Many users who are interested in an item will naturally check out the product thread for that item instead of searching for it. Even a search of WAYWT may not reveal that item if it hasn't been mentioned in the post. So we'd like the product threads to flourish again, as much as other parts of the forum are.
The Announcement:
To this end we'd like to announce that mods will start x-posting pics we think are useful examples of products from the WAYWT threads, (and tour threads, competition threads, and so on); and into the relevant product threads. If you generally would rather we didn't do this with your pictures, please let us know in a PM at your leisure. If we x-post one of your pics that you'd rather we didn't, just tell a mod and we'll delete it. Otherwise, just take it as a compliment. In the meantime feel free to start x-posting yourselves
