The thing with the new iPhone is that it'll most likely be a redesign. This is kind of a double edged sword. While it's the newest iThing and have a want factor of a zillion, it could potentially have design issues (see iPhone 4 antenna-gate).
The good news is that the 4 will then be cheap as shit if you don't like the 5.
Yeah I am waiting to hear about the specs/ see the design of the 5. At that point, I will decide weather to upgrade from the 4 to the 4s (for cheap) or to the 5…

My buddy who works at AT&T said summer for the new iphone.
No one really know until they release it everyone is just guessing, I know plenty of people in the industry couple working for apple and even they have no idea. As a business point of view they won't release next iPhone till at least 1 year after the 4s.
Summer is just around the corner so we'll see

Other than the new design, what are the rumored changes for the 5?
Possibly larger screen. The usual processor upgrade. Camera upgrade. Maybe NFC. I'm not really sure what else they can do at this point.

NFC?
Near field communication. So like you can set your phone on another NFC device to transfer data. The most immediate application of this is using your phone to pay for things by swiping it at the register.

It's scarier than that. Apple could potentially become a HUGE credit card processor if they release an NFC iPhone and allow payment through your iTunes account, which has an extremely large collection of users who use credit cards. They'd probably gouge merchants but they'd still use it.

What's your prediction? Not that it's going to be that difficult to guess specs on this one with all the leaked parts and shit. Also, what do you think is going on with the Apple TV/Actual TV?
